Hello fellas! So im about to go big. 6466 pte. Goals are to reach 700s for now. Plan on using e85.

    Got an st manifold
    2200ccs injectors
    Split second controller
    Walbro pump

Im debating where to put the surge tank (got an ms6) if in the engine bay or trunk. Send pics please!

Also. Need a fuel pressure regulator and the tank itself. Which would you guys recommend?

    Thanks!

johnnyT has done some great write ups.. don't really need a surg tank from the reading I've done but I'm not PI so take that as you will ultimately use case definitely dictates. Check out the threads below if you haven't already.

The benefits of a surge tank are not having to worry about your tank running low when doing a pull on half tank. If I was to do it again I would keep the PI separate and do a 3-5 gallon tank of E85 in the trunk. I did not do this as I have kids and don't want to worry about trunk fuel fire things. You could also relocate the battery and run a small tank in the bay just for the PI. This will allow you to DD the car but have the extra fuel when needed and not be running e85 all the time so better MPG. There are so many different ways to run fuel for these cars you really need to know what your want to deal with.
