hey guys, so im trying to get a 3.5 intake in there and im assuming i got to relocate the ecu..

i took the metal ecu box off the battery box and i plan on moving it over the fuse box...

question, since the ecu box is metal, do i need to protect that from touching other metal stuff in the car like the car frame or anything? (don't want' to short it out or something if thats even possible)

any tips on moving this thing? thanks

It’s something to keep in mind for sure I would probably sleeve it myself in some kind of conduit padded something or other

100% yes. Most people remount it on top of the fuse box cover specifically because it’s plastic and the OEM wiring harness has no problem “bending” over to that location.

The ecm case is grounded. There are no issues other than noise/vibration if it touches the chassy.
