    Hey Folks,

hoping one of you can help, cleaned injectors, intake valves etc. reassembled, now I'm getting p0202 Cylinder 2 Injector Circuit Malfunction
cleared code, it comes back, check electrical connection, still there. tested harness for cycl 2 its fine. really hoping I didnt pooch the injector somehow? that being said I did pinch the injector to rail o-ring massive leak and just replaced them, car did not run enough before to notice if I threw a code before shutting it off with the fuel light.

Wondering if it's worth moving injectors between cylinders at this point to see if it is in fact the injector. thoughts?

Connector is clean even put in dielectric grease, noid light on harness is good. Pins on Injector appear straight will check Resistance on it here after dinner

Edit: spoke to couple mechanics looking like I'm swapping injector to another cylinder in the morning and seeing if it follows. There's a lot of diagnostic in the service manual I've checked some of the connections as it says and not seeing anything concerning.

Awafrican if you swap injectors and the issue is still there, you can do a double check on the harness. If you isolate the harness, install a jumper on one end. You can load the harness with an incandescent headlight, if the bulb lights normally then you know for sure there isn't any issues.

Isn't that the whole purpose of a noid light especially one that's for Bosch injectors?
If I swap Injectors and the issue stays at the same cylinder it's a harness issue if it moves with it it's an injector issue. Or I get lucky and I seat everything properly

The noid light only applies a small amperage, that's why the incandescent bulb. It takes more amperage, it helps you confirm 100%.

Oh okay that makes sense. I'll be checking the harness for connunity between Injector and ecu before moving things around incase something is fucked there...

Reading through the shop manual part of the diagnostic procedure for this area is issue with hpfp...says check that pressure etc. (After checking injector specific stuff) wondering if I fucked something there. Did check hpfp connector and it's fine. given how common the ground there causes issues I'll clean it up too even though it has not been touched.

Awafrican did you do a comparison ohm reading of your injectors?

Plug in question on left one on right for reference. I had bent the pin up on the Injector that's when it groved a a little pushed up more going into the correct spot now (verified with dielectric grease)
Other than some maring at the very edge it seems okay and not spread the holder is okay further back.

    PXL_20210411_203218708.jpg
Now the question is do I swap Injectors between cylinders and with new o-rings try this again. Or do I send the Injector for a test to ensure that it is okay after moving the pins (I think it should be)
Local has an old set of Injectors I can snag one from and clean too.

From that picture, that left one looks like Hell! The female spades look twisted. I'd focus there. Test the injector with your ohm meter, if it's the same as the others, call it good.

Pushed them up a little with a pick, slides into Injector nicely, little slanted Hoping it'll be okay. New seals on the way.. hopefully this fixes things.

Does look better. If you're waiting anyway, you could find/grind down a male spade to test it. Test it for fit, and continuity.

What I mean is between male and female. The female side is spring loaded against the male. If the spring is bent, then continuity is not good.
