Nada. Waiting on the new machine shop to free up so I can pay em and have em press in my sleeves, do my bowl work etc.

Which is fine. Cause 2020 fucked me with work pay and with LG pulling out of the mobile game, I lost my job in April and just started a new job in the middle of June.

Hopefully September is the month where the machine shop is ready for me. Performance Engineering out of Cincinnati, OH will be doing the machine work. And then assembly will be done by Tommy Foley of TC Customs (a good friend of mine in the mazdaspeed world) and myself. Hoping for first startup before spring

Good luck to you Sho. Just got mine back from the machine shop a few weeks back. Got my head on and had a few guys came over this weekend to help with the timing. Got the turbo,, fuel rail and some of the accessories on. Soon to be going in the car.

Block and head are at the machine shop. Sleeves are installed. The block is being oringed then the short block will be assembled. The head is getting bowl work and then Tommy will be assembling the head and slapping it on and timing it. Not sure what the eta is to completion, but work is being done!

Can't wait. I haven't driven the ms6 much on the account that I can't go wot since the stock clutch is now slipping under heavy load as soon as tq eclipses 330. So currently running a spring pressure map and my girlfriend drives it a couple times a week to run errands while I'm at work to keep the battery charged up and fluids moving.

Tribodyn ftw. This is my original short block that dropped a valve. Oil was drained when we pulled the motor in April.

The blue juice is still clinging to the mains and still spins freely

Which Tribodyn specifically? Is that the oil itself that is blue, or an additive? Pretty impressive.

Tri-dex 5w30. All of their fluids are blue. Engine oil, trans/diff oil etc.

Figured I'd check in. No huge updates other than the short block is done and now waiting on the bowl work to be completed on the head. Otherwise,no rush on my end as I'll be a little tight on funds til next month.

Grabbed a DM ms6 PS cooler using my raffle gift cards. Only thing else I really need are fluids and some rear end links. Aside from that, only one thing kind of needed as a priority is to have my spare clutch pedal welded up and ready to go for when the new motor is swapped in so I don't have to worry about anything

Hola. It's been a minute. Everything is just about ready for assembly. Machine shop has been paid. Just some odds and ends left to buy
    1. Overspend seals
    2. Coolant
    3. Gear/diff oils
    4. Break in oil
    5. Wheel spacers for the front for my FD wheels/drag radials
    6. Wot box

Also need to send my extra radium venturi to @Maisonvi to get my other hellcat pump setup complete

Still waiting on the machine shop to assemble the head. They're taking their sweet old time and it's driving me insane. That is all.

Otherwise, got my overspeed seals and wot box. Just need fluids and shit now

Luckily for me, I found a shart-4 neon owner selling his wotbox used in Cincinnati for $75. Had a buddy pick it up for me and take it over to the shop!

Finally have a legitimate update. Tommy picked up everything from the machine shop today. Short block is assembled. Head is assembled with all the valve clearances done. Time to have him put together the long block and get this going after nearly 3 long years of sitting on parts and waiting for machine shops to get things done. Looking good, are you doing any porting on the head or did the shop do it?

Shop did some bowl work and cleaned up the intake and exhaust runners a little.

It's ready to be slapped to the block and timed

Can't wait to see what she does! What compression is this motor going to be again? 11:1?
