Update: Retrofitted a total eBay clone of an HKS SSQV today. Saw enough reviews to justify buying it, flame me if you will. But, when I say retrofitted, I mean... I broke the vacuum reference line, so i pulled it out, and used a t fitting, shaved it, jammed it in, and sealed it. Works like a charm. But, I'm getting a new one free of charge, so it wont be janky for long, especially since I'll be going front mount and VTA soon. I am now in possession if a Tial 38mm wastegate and dump tube, and BOV. Waiting for the right time to buy my manifold and oil feed lines, saving for my 5858 (60% there! :applaudit:) and then all that is left to do is mount it, have ny guys at Speed Solutions fab up a return line, and have them modify my downpipe!

Still waiting to be tuned. SO READY FOR ALL OF IT.

Edit: Remember in my OP I said 400ish was my power goal? LOL. 500 or bust at this point. (After I'm built of course, duh.)

Being top mount are you going to need a custom tih? I'll be stalking you now interested in how this works out.

I could still use a production one, HTP or equivalent. But custom fab parts have a special place in my heart, so I might go that route. My battery will be in the trunk so I have a lot of room to work with. I'm using a CS stage 2, but I don't want a 4" inlet turbo mated to a 2.5" intake.

So, a lot of websites are having a 10% off labor day sale.. and I have $700 set to the side... and a good amount of PayPal credit...

Things might happen. Stay tuned for newborn pictures, minus the newborn, plus a turbo.

Depending on turbo options that's close to buying a turbo.

All I need now is the manifold, FMIC setup, drain line and modified downpipe. IT'S SO CLOSE.

So getting the turbo on is taking forever. I'm going to have to hold off on the Damond adapter right now, so my initial turbo swap will include the new turbo, manifold, modified fmic piping, and a 4" intake. Future plans will be the DM FoST port injection adapter with a throttle spacer, meth, and depending on money, possibly doing the fuel system in one shot.

But I painted my wheels yesterday and did an oil change.

Hi, my name is Phil and I like to not take pictures of all the shit I have piled up in the corner of my room. ALL MY TURBSKY GOODIES ARE HERE. I have my manifold on hand, PTE 5858, TiAL MV-S wastegate, dump tube and adapter, extra SSQV, FMIC (already on car), oil feed line, and a 4" HTP intake. Going to pick up a 3 BAR from a local and then the car gets sent off for install, downpipe modification and a drain line. I. Can't. Wait. Even though I'm limited by stock internals, it should still be a blast.

Oh, and I've decided to go full racecar with this one. So the 5858 is a temporary turbo. Probably move up in the future when the motor is forged. I'm big into drag racing, so... yeah. Go fast and shit in a straight line and hopefully cross that line faster than any other MS6 has before. Should be a fun path!
