    What's up MSO!
I know everyone is all about go fast parts and function over form, but I've been a bass head for far too long...

This build will be simple but taking the time to make the install as clean as possible, I just cut all the MDF pieces to size yesterday and will start assembly next weekend after my air compressor arrives.

    Here are the details:
    - (1) 10" CT Sounds Strato V2.0 (dual 2-ohm)
    - (1) CT Sounds M750D (750 watts RMS at 1-ohm)
    - KnuKonceptz 4 GA. OFC wiring
    - KnuKonceptz Krystal Kable RCAs
    - 8 GA. speaker wire
    - Big (3) upgrade
    - Custom ported box designed by Mark at caraudiofabrication.com

Here are just a few pictures I have, but will upload a lot more as the build progresses over the next couple weeks.

Definitly curious on how it sounds. Ive looked into them before just wasnt sure about it. I picked up a DD TS3500 d4 i just need to build a proper box for this monster.

I've personally never heard or ran a CT sounds sub before but wanted to try something new and different so I'm excited to hear this beast.

I love DD subs... Planning on a ported box?

I'm now looking into running an active 2 way component set up front so doing some research on that now

Currently in a horn ported box but the tuning seems to be to high. I played around with some box calculators and with the specs i could find it should be tuned in the 20's. I'm thinking of something in the low 30's would be better for the car.

What type of music do you listen to? My last slot port box I built was tuned at 34 Hz, curious to see how this box will sound tuned at 36 Hz...I was too lazy to design my own box but very curious to see how this box Mark designed for me sounds...

Getting closer... Still need to round over the corners of the port and re cut a top piece where the sub mounts because I cut the hole based on the sub spec and ended up being too big

Looks really nice. Why no 12"? Lots more cone area/lot easier dB/$ that way.

This audio build started off completely differently, originally I picked up an Audio integrations box for a 10" sub that fits in the jack spot.

Ordered a 2015 model 10" CT sounds Strato v1.0 sub 500 watts rms which was $99 shipped and they sent me a 2016 10" CT sounds strato v2.0 800 watts rms which sells for $389 shipped... Free upgrade

Turns out the v2.0 didn't fit in the audio integrations box because of the mounting depth so decided to sell that box and build a ported box

If I could do it all over again I would of done (2) or (4) 8s

Top baffle is all cut, should be 100% complete today if I don't get distracted on continuing organizing my garage and tools

Left my 10" ported box to a pro audio shop, but here's what they came up with.

I had that alpine amp really liked it but wasn't enough for this sub I will be running. Hoping Im happy with this CT sounds gear

Didn't get anything done on the box today since I finished putting some overhead rack storage up and bought a new toolbox, nothing fancy but perfect for me and my garage

It's plenty for my Boston Acoustics sub. I like the fact that my sensitivity is over 92. Lots of those really high-end subs, like W7s and stuff, have sensitivity way down in the mid 80s. Don't get me wrong, it'd be nice to have a $800 sub, but this is plenty for me, and the Alpine matches it well.
