    One of our engineers took apart a Mazda 6 turbocharger and play's show and tell on our blog.

    What comes to mind for me is the switchover setup used in the FD rx7 to control the two turbos with the way Mazda setup the "Manifold"

    Very cool stuff!

    Is that an EFR Turbo? I see the speed sensor on the compressor housing...

    I don't think it is. I believe it is based or is a MHI.

    If its the same turbo as the Mazda 3 Turbo, the model number for the turbo should be TD04LR4-04H*12HE1T-5.

    I was told that it was designed by Mazda and manufactured by Mitsubishi.
