Hey all kinda long time MSF user, not enough MSO user. Sold my speed a while back and have b5 s4's now. Have a silver sedan, was my 1st one. I got it with a built trans, fx400 clutch and pp, full bolt ons, and tuned on pump gas. Bought a b5 s4 avant that needed a serious amount of work last September for a project, and I prefer the wagon body style as well :). fast forward a couple months and the turbos in the silver car ended up dying at 226k miles after over AT LEAST 65k of abuse on the tune from what I was told by P.O. Good on Borg Warner for that quality :ARMS1:

Bought ko4 turbos for the avant after I took the stock ko3s off of it for the silver car. Put silver car back together with all the stock avant parts. Avant now going to be what the audi community calls a "stage 3" setup. Basically going from 2 ko3s to 2 ko4s. Bigger turbos and full bolt ons essentially.

Found a water leak on car 100 miles after buying it so that's why so soon...this was early September and October last year [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

After I swapped the entire suspension setup to make the avant low and the sedan stock again...wheels came on the avant, pretty good looking imo.

Bought the ko4s blown so I put some different known good chra's in them and put them back together. [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

And where I am at for now. Was going for a polished look on the intake manifold....lost my patience after about 20 hours with the dremel. Will improve later. Timing belt on motor thermostat etc etc and engine covers so on so forth....

Hopefully motor and trans going in this friday ! [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

Finished assembling the car about a month and a half ago or so. Been driving it since then, a couple issues but nothing major. Sorry not a huge picture guy I always forget to take them....waiting on a tune for now, just been breaking in the new setup. A little more than 1000 miles on it at this point.

For those not super versed in these cars it's a twin turbo v6. 2.7l, I upgraded it to what is called a "stage 3" setup (common terms for audi guys, I know we don't do stages here lol). This is swapping the stock ko3s to ko4s, which is OEM equipment on an RS4 audi of this generation.

I am saving up for intercoolers for it so that I can run higher boost, as the stock intercoolers can only safely hold about 20psi. Going to do a conservative 17-18psi until intercoolers, then pour on the sauce to about 23psi. Also planning to go e85, which the injectors for that will be going in on the base tune of 17psi...just need a fuel pump then all is dandy!

That's all for now. Hope my fellow mazdaspeeders are doing well![IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
