Mine broke. Dealer replaced it under warranty. Still wobbled. Welding definitely fixed it.

Well apparently I don't get notifications anymore for the time being on threads lol. Dealer looked at it and basically told me the direction off is the one I should fuck. Said it would be $500 to fix and I walked out.

Exactly the plan. Brother is a professional welder so I'll have him do it if we get access to a welder. If not I'll just pay a visit to a local Nator buddy.

My seat is looser than a sorostitute at a frat party. I have collected 3 of the crush washers so far. Seems like such a terrible design on a car that is made to take turns.

I just noticed a TSB announcing a recall for these seat brackets. The TSB said that dealers should have the replacement parts in March 2017 and are supposed to notify us then. Mine is fine but I understand this is a serious issue for us Gen 2 MS3 owners.

Happened to me a couple years back. Got it covered under my platinum warranty. No issues ever since. Glad they finally released a TSB for it - it was definitely needed.

Yeah, I was just about to buy a cheap sparco to fix this problem. My rail cracked now too. Hoping to hear from them soon.

Mine broke as well while it was under the extended warranty. I took it back and they did one stupid little spot weld. It broke again after the warranty while I was in a new city without tools or anything. Put a fat ass bolt through it and haven't had any issues since. Pretty ghetto fix, but shit works. I can still move the seat up if I need to, but I usually just have the seat all the way back anyways.
