    Going to start low 35 or 50. The kit has jetting for 35, 50, 75, 100, 125, and 150.

    Definitely curious to see the outcome. Ive never heard of anyone putting a DI turbo on the bottle

    It's been done by a couple of OGs a few years back. I've always been curious about nitrous and I figured I'd like to try it on a car at some point so it may as well be this one.

    This post is going to be longer than necessary because I'm happy that something actually works for once. So I tried test fitting my FD wheels this past weekend, and I knew that the stock caliper would have to be shaved to get them to fit but I didn't know by how much. Well it's a pretty healthy amount unless you want to run a 25mm spacer (it still has to be shaved a decent amount with a 25mm spacer) and I don't want to run that much spacer. So for shits and grins I tried bolting up one of my evo brembos and surprisingly the clearance was pretty similar to the stock calipers. So after some measuring with my calipers I found that the evo brembo is thinner than our stock caliper but it's mounted further away from the knuckle which results in barrel clearance being about the same.

    So I started researching other caliper options. I looked at the wilwood options and might look into it further but I don't think they come with dust boots (might be wrong on that), I'm not a fan of how limited your selection of brake pad compound becomes, and the WW calipers don't grab the whole surface of the rotor. So next I looked at the CS calipers. The really big appeal to the CS calipers are the ability to use a WRX pad so there are plenty of compound options. I printed off the template from their site but barrel clearance was really close, close enough that I would be hesitant to buy them sight unseen.

    Fortunately for me @phate just threw a set of these on his car this past weekend so I stopped by his place to test fit a wheel last night. And sure enough, the clearance is extremely tight, but it clears, by like 1/4mm. The icing on the cake is that only a 5mm spacer is needed for the spokes to clear as well! So I'll be picking up a set of CS calipers soon and milling .5mm off the mounting bracket to pull the caliper inwards (towards the axle) just to give me a hair more clearance.


    TL;DR @CorkSport calipers work with some 16" wheels.

    It is. I was really hoping to have more for this weekend since it's opening weekend at Great Lakes Dragaway but tuning has gone pretty slow this past month :(

    Good find with those calipers. I had wondered if those would work, since I'll want drag radials at some point.

    They can definitely work, with the right bracket. Evo guys run FD wheels over their stock brakes and these are very close dimensionally except the mounting points are closer together. The FD wheels won't fit over evo brembos on our car because our knuckle positions the caliper further out from the center of the rotor and because the mounting points are so close between our knuckle and their caliper that there's no simple design for a bracket. Anywho, the ctsv caliper is much cheaper and alters the braking bias about half as much as the evo brakes do.

    I didn't get around to test fitting this weekend since it was raining most of the time. Thursday I should hopefully be getting around to it. Once I have the dimensions right @zenit (is Rob on MSO?) might be able to 3d print me a test fit piece to get the depths right and have the caliper centered on the rotor and then I'll get a set cut in Al. If everything is as easy as I hope (just jinxed it) then I might be able to offer these for others interested.

    A couple days ago (don't know why I didn't respond sooner) I realized you were talking about the CS calipers. They discontinued them for the 6 and pretty much told me to pound sand when I said I'd be willing to purchase an ms3 kit and if they could give me dimensions I would make my own brackets. Just another reason I don't really support CS anymore.

    i believe that the 6 uses some screwy fittings that they were having problems with.
