I'm toying around with a full PI kit idea right now, there's more than one way to tackle it but I'd like to buy as little fittings as I have to lol

Haha all good man, I'd say it's still on topic. Could help out someone else if they are curious about those fittings for my 6th port ;). As for the stock block and a massive turbo...

I used one of those o-ring fittings. Honestly I had a hell of a time with them. I rolled the orings in one and leaked fuel like crazy. Earl's replaced ti for me, but the second one had issues too. Ended up with a compression style on the hose and its so much tighter, I liked it a lot better.

I remember you having issues with the orings fitting on right. I sprayed mine with some silicone spray and it went on without a fuss. I'm interested in that compression fitting, have a link?

You can get tube to male or female:

I also used all an lines to replace everything from the fire wall. If you are using the stock low pressure feed, then we will need something else to attach to that

Interesting, I'll keep that in mind if I have any more issues with my setup now.

Not yet, I'm still up in the air. The gf thinks it'll look dumb which I half agree with considering my car is silver. I was waiting for the insurance company to contact me since I emailed them last week but they haven't gotten back to me yet. I tried to call today but no answer so I left a message.

Any idea what the weight reduction would be? I think it would look like ass. I have a silver pu as well. I couldn't find a cf pu hatch, but I didn't look very hard. Any idea what the cost would be?

I found a few, they seem to be in the 750 range which is about what an OEM costs from my estimate. I have no idea what the weight savings would be, all of the sites that I found don't list the weight. I just made the decision not to do it. I agree that it would look pretty ugly. Maybe if my car was black then I would of considered it more seriously.

You could always have the cf painted. Then you get weight reduction and not ugly

Here is where I get all my fittings. Every size you need. I'm late to the reply, but I assume from your statement, you want -6AN to something bigger than 1/8 NPT.

    Anyway.

So went to the drag strip on Friday, I'm too ashamed to post up my times here. Second time going to the strip and first time with over 400 whp so I guess I need to get used to it. Launching seemed fine, could use some practice in that area but I kept missing shifts which was why I did so bad lol. I feel like I was just trying to shift too fast or something to that nature. Syncros could also be bad because 2nd gear popped out during a couple of runs.

One thing I found out was that my front passenger side tire has about a 6 inch chunk missing from the side wall. It was on the inside part of the tire so not visible unless you take the wheel off. I didn't even notice until I was taking my slicks off and putting my wheels back on to go home. It wasn't losing air somehow and I didn't have another way to get home so I threw it on the back instead of the front in case of a blow out. Made it home fine, I'm going to see about getting it replaced tomorrow. Probably with something cheap since summer is pretty much over.

image.jpeg Yeah here's my tire that has a huge chunk missing. A couple of locals hooked me up. Bought 3 hardly used tires for 60 bucks and another knows someone who can mount and balances them for pretty cheap. I figured I'd swap the two back tires with the "new" ones and keep my Nt05s up front. Just so I don't have one odd ball tire.

I'm afraid to go to the track with an EWG, built motor, 35R car on slicks/skinnys and look like a fool. I never tracked my Speed with anything over ~370whp on summer tire so it's going to be a learning experience for sure.

Wow that is rather odd to see a chunk up and depart.
