Per a shout box convo where JT has dropped some of his experience, please feel free to add any info you may have regarding tuning for cold starts after having removed the VTCS:

I reached out to my tuner, Stratified, requesting this exact change to my tune, but they had no idea how to implement it in ATR. Thank you.

They should know how to change idle levels...

Also if you slightly hold the gas while you start the car and release once it turns over, the cold start routine will be bypassed.

Yeah, I use the throttle tap method daily. Would be nice to just have it be the default.

On my PU, the below are basically stock, and in current 45deg weather startup idle is around 1500-1600.
As an aside, those table axis labels make no sense to me as both say Coolant Temp, unless the X-axis is supposed to say "Coolant Temp" and the Y-axis is "Air Temp" and COBB just didn't bother properly naming them.

I have noticed now that it is cold out the car does not want to idle at cold start "30f and lower" unless I manually hold it at 2k rpm for about 10 seconds. I will be switching back to stock values for he cold months and see if that fixes it.
