Since this has already been posted on MSF, I figured I would share them on here as well.

Custom ARP 1/2” head studs and nuts that my machine shop made for my build.

They are made from ARP2000 material and all of the pictures are comparing to the standard 10mm head studs.

Mine is the first set and sort of a prototype from the machine shop. But they are most likely going to be making a few sets of them in the future.

I'm thinking that'll cure the head lift we've seen on regular ARP2000s ;)

Because no one here is trying to make over 1500hp.

PS keep us in the loop. If they can get these under the cost of our 10mm H11/CA625 option I'm in.

    lol, wait, me? or Rokusek?
[doublepost=1465243235][/doublepost]For what its worth, im not going to be pushing these studs to NEAR the limit that they should be able to hold.
my build should be about 600whp, give or take some. haha.

JMF port injection with a GTX3582. shooting for whatever that will get me.

I think 99.9% of people wouldn't be able to take these studs to their limit. Which is exactly why I want them. Also because hopefully less money than tool steel studs.

You've had a speed for years, but it may be non running more years than its been running? Either way, it's on the right track to be awesome again.

Who needs 11mm head studs when you can use 12.7mm? :D

Yeah, hell, ive had the speed since January of 2008 haha.
its been kinda split down the center as to how long its ran verse how long it has been down. I just look at it as, it will be one low(ish) mileage speed6 on the road hahahaa

My thoughts exactly! if you've got to drill out the head and drill and re-tap the block anyway, might as well do it right!

@AYOUSTIN I went down to pick up my engine, and I was talking to the machine shop guys about these headstuds.
turns out that they actually had ARP make them. they have been trying to get in contact with ARP about getting another set for you but they haven't heard anything back yet. They said that ARP is a pain to deal with haha.

so I guess if you want to hound on ARP about possibly producing another set? ill still let you know if I hear anything back from them though.
