Ha thats the question! Totally bailed on this thread... but its due for an update.

The car is running! Everything is in and working more or less fine. There are still a few things to work out. Tuning has begun, but we just went back a bunch of steps because my regulator on the rail was set too low, and I also had some knock showing up in WOT. Many things have been insulated, and the last logs sent to Justin earlier this week had no crazy knock, so thats a win.

I do have some intermittent cutting out of a coil/plug, and its probably going to result in an entirely new harness, waiting on Eric for that though. It is the strangest thing, once every 30 minutes or so, ill start getting a bit of a misfire from one of the plugs and ill have to pull over, turn the car off, and disconnect and reconnect all the coil packs. Once I do that, its all good.

Turbo seems to be spooling up pretty fast for how big it is, but once E85 mix is added in with PI on we will see.

I did have some pretty epic things hold me back. It took 4 revisions of an oil drain line to get one that fit the turbo without modification, and let me tell you, swapping a drain line in car sucks, majorly. PTO had to come out more or less to get at all the things.

It also took a little while to figure out wiring in everything in a solid way. The surge tank pump is getting its power via a relay triggered by the rear in tank pump. When the rear tank is on, the surge is on, its pretty nice.

Hopefully the next map I get from Justin will be solid and not have any crazy knock, but if it does, DI injectors are coming out and im examining seals. Justin was pretty positive it was false knock, as in something in the engine bay rattling around, and that may be the case. There were some places IC pipe were loose enough to hit something, and my IC and radiator were able to touch each other if you put pressure on the bumper. Also, my boost controller, which was on the firewall, is now held in the air by a bunch of zip ties to keep it off of metal. It clicks loudly.

I am hoping to get the car good to go for Dragon camp in a few weeks, but if not, the 3 will be going.

From the previous post, the rear axles were in fact the biggest pain In the butt ever. they are destroyed, and are now DSS, which should be fine. Rear sway bar bushings were a piece of cake, and the rear diff mounts were super easy to do with the axles and suspension pulled, didn't take too long at all. I am definitely a fan of the Koni CS springs combo, its a smooth ride. Its actually more comfortable to ride than the 3 I picked up as a daily, bit that will be fixed this weekend, ill be picking up my new suspension this afternoon.

T Case caps were easy, just cleaned everything out nicely, scraped the sealing surface, and re applied gasket maker. piece of cake.

To recap, car is running! in the process of tuning, and ironing out things that show up at 30psi.

Also, no matter what, it will cost more and take longer than you want, but its definitely worth it to not do it half way.

Well, had a fun little adventure... Long story short, my coil pack harness was causing me a lot of my issues. Still TBD what caused it, but I now have a completely new harness from Eric and sent off the first logs to Justin Sunday, but no knock! I am hoping to get one more revision before heading out for the Dragon this weekend, but I really am trying to bring the 6 instead of the 3. its time. Had a bit of a scare this AM regarding my fuel pressure regulator, car stalled out while I was driving it and wouldn't start. Took the regulator apart, cleaned the diaphragm and bam! Started up fine. I didn't drive it to work, but will go around the neighborhood this afternoon and see what happens.
