Was looking at some 18"x8" rims with a +47 offset, everything I have read on here says they'll fit. However, on the website I'm looking at buying from they have rims of the exact same measurements (18" x 8" +47) that say they'll fit, but the ones I'm looking at say they wont. Is it possible to have two different rims with the same measurements and one fits and another doesn't? and do you guys think these will fit? Sorry for the noob question.

    Thank you!

Depending on the style they may not clear the brakes

Here's a link, sorry should've included this in the OP.

EDIT: I know some forums are against links so I got rid of it. The rims I'm looking at are the drag dr-67's, have a 5 split spoke design. Will post a link if someone says that's alright to do.

18x8+47 would more than likely be fine. Just make sure you have 114.3 bolt pattern and 67.1mm or larger center bore.

Some places may not guarantee fitment unless they know for a fact that it will work.

If you have stock calipers, I would be surprised if you could find an aftermarket 18" rim that won't clear the brakes.

The only other concerns are scrubbing the rear wheel wells (OEMs are 7" wide) and when you go full lock, you may experience the tires touching the inner fender/frame rail.

That being said, I am running 18x8.5+35 with 2354018 tires and only thing i had to do was put a fresh pair of shocks in the back. But if I overload the car, it will scrub the rear wheel arches.
