I figured I'd post a thread about it, mainly asking about the various places it can be done. I like starting informative threads with questions I rarely see asked, if at all.

So, AWD. It's fun, but you need to be careful. Of course, as you should know, AWD cars are very touchy, particularly from a stop. If launching, be cautious and do one of three things; preload the gears, do it from a slight roll, or just... don't. Most people already know about doing the rear rear diff mount, but it's worth it to know there is a front rear diff mount as well.

Fairly new to the scene is transfer case bearing caps. I wish I had these as my TC grenaded on me after a day at the strip (I deserved it). Anybody have any experience with these products? I believe SP63 makes them, and I saw something about White Widow ones somewhere (?).

So besides that, anybody ever tried to go farther into the drivetrain? Driveshafts? Rebuilt TC/rear diff? More parts I didn't mention? Discuss.

DSS makes stronger rear axles. Tcase caps have been around for years. Rear diff doesn't break, unless you're just really unlucky. Teo made an external brace for his tcase, still ended up popping it. YMMV
