Buy a spring based on your idle vac reading

I bought this valve to replace my ebay HKS SSQV which was wonky. This valve has been great and car feels smoother then ever.

    The Good:
    • Very smooth on and off throttle, no fuss
    • Looks pretty cool and was cheap
    • Should support pretty much any boost level you can throw at it
    • Adapter fits great and not leaks with the o-rings "don't forget to lube them a bit"
    The Bad:
    • This thing is massive especially with the added height of the adapter , make sure you have room
    • It's very quiet , this may be a good for some but I like my rice sounds
    • Edges are sharp and it is not as nice as the OG tial as far as machine quality goes

    Install Tips:
    • Open the valve up and clean it, these things are mass produced and not quality checked. Make sure you check it all over and clean out any metal shavings
    • Install the spring you need or don't idk I am not your mom LIVE YOUR LIFE
    • Lube the shaft "he he" with silicone paste , it comes pre-lubed but you need to clean it so service it at the same time.
    • Use an 8mm Vac Line to the Intake Manifold "I have read that people have the best success with such a large valve doing this, no vac blocks"
    Conclusion:

I am very happy with this valve. I have been hooning around for a few days now and it works great. Car is much smoother in and out of throttle and just wants to go. Boost builds smoother as well. I have not had any surge issues.
