Will mounting my ecu like this cause any issues?

Don't think so, but it's close to the MAF, and worry it might hit the wires.

Shouldn't. That's actually very similar to how the Trackmasters ECU bracket orients our ECUs. Just make SURE that your ECU isn't grounded. I chose to forego the metal hardware Trackmasters provided me and used nylon bolts and nuts to keep everything insulated.

Okay thanks! I was concerned about the MAF as well. So I readjusted some things and now it looks good. About a half inch space between them.

No, I only have a RMM at the moment. I'm ordering a TMM next paycheck. That half inch doesn't seem to be a whole lot, but it's better than it sitting directly on it.

I am concerned about engine movement and the MAF harness rubbing is all.

I completely agree. Will any amount of tape assist in protecting it? Just in case? I have a 51R battery in the stock box right now... I'm thinking about removing the battery box this weekend and trimming the box back an inch or two and creating a new bracket to hold the ecu to the battery box.

An impact is an impact. FWIW, mine is on top of the fuse box.

I thought about doing that as well. What are you using to mount it there?
