New to the forum, trying to find a particularly elusive problem.

Yesterday I changed the oil on my 1st Gen MS3 (2012 engine in it) and about 30 minutes later when I was merging onto the highway it lost power and started misfiring. Whenever I go past a certain throttle position it started misfiring and won't speed up and I lose all power.

Below are the engine codes I currently have:
    -PCM
    -P0300
    -P0403
    -P2006
    -IC
    -U2064

    Previous owner did these mods:
    - Custom 3" downpipe with 3" cut out (cut out is currently blocked off, haven't really looked at that at all)
    - 3" full exhaust
    - JBR 3" turbo inlet pipe
    - Auto tech HPFP internals
    - Damond oil restrictor bolt (no clue what this does)
    - Cobb access port v3
    - EGR delete
    - VCTS delete

So far to try and diagnose it I've installed new NGK Iridium spark plugs (gapped at .027), new coil packs (with lithium grease), tested to make sure the coil packs were firing consistently, cleaned the MAF and MAP and made sure they were connected snugly, taken off the intercooler and checking all the couplers and pipes for leaks.

I can't find any problems with boost, I have some videos of it running and of the accessport if anyone needs information.

Please help lol, I'm at a loss and I have work in 12 hours.

Nope, it’s been a 6+ month nightmare. Took it to a shop, they fucked around for a couple weeks and then caught the engine on fire during a joyride. They got an insurance payout to replace the burnt parts, didn’t replace anything, and shipped it off to another shop. Other shop tried for two months to figure it out but no dice. Now they’re just trying random stuff hoping that it’ll be fixed because even the mazda dealership won’t work on it because of the gen 2 engine swap.
Getting ready to sue the first shop for fraud. Sorry I couldn’t help more

This is bullshit and means fuckall. It's a factory engine for the car, period.

Getting ready to sue? You should have done that right after the car caught fire from their stupidity.

What parts got burned up? Do you have any pictures of it? Just because the engine came from a Gen 2 Mazdaspeed that shouldn't matter and it sounds like the dealership was avoiding dealing with the car because of some other issue. We're all here to help but if you never posted logs or any more information there isn't much we can do.

I don’t need help, I already moved on to a miata lol. They declined working on it more because engine swap, custom down pipe from previous owner, and the burnt wiring harness and brake master cylinder.

I don’t need help so no biggie, I only came back to this thread so I could respond to someone who replied.

We didn’t sue them right away because they were friends with my dad and were trying to work with us on it and seemed very sincere. Oh well, a mistake
