don't do this, I have no idea why people want to run the car so it dies lean.
is the car cold? there will be minimal fuel there put a rag under the hpfp hard-line nut end when you crack it it'll catch most of the fuel then you can let that rag evaporate shit I've done with with a warm engine I'll take that fuel over starving my car of fuel so it dies.
rag for the other lines too, it's really not much fuel.

Thanks for the reply and suggestion.
Car would be warm - let cool down before working on it - but not driving temperature. I’d be driving it to a friend’s place to do the work.

yeah it's probably just fine, that's how I did my first set of hpfp internals. just dont lay the rags in a pile spread them out so they evaporate and don't heat up. same goes for oily rags that's begging for a fire.

I get people not wanting to spray as much fuel especially if engine is hot. I do believe that you've got the right fuse if you do want to do it.
once your done koeo a few times for 10 sec that'll help re prime the lines before you start as it cycles the itfp

Thank you, I did see the mentioning of turning the ignition - not starting the car - to the accessory a few times on and off to prime it.
