Let's do this! My turnaround right now is 1-2 days between revisions.

I still read everything you post in Farnsworth's voice. It reminds me of the episode where he became a street racer.

What are your emission laws like up in Canada? I see you're planning on doing an EGR delete. A bunch of people just unplug it to make eliminating the code easier when emissions rolls around, but I'm assuming you already knew that.

Yeah emission up here suck, but EGR and DP are projects for next year. so its a problem for my future self.

Gotta love emissions nazis. We can get away with 2 disabled codes where I'm at, but the 3rd fails you, so after catless DP the EGR takes you over the limit where I'm at unfortunately. I'd like the extra room...

We get one, so it would need to plug my egr back in for the tests cause the dp will be the 1. Apparently even catted dp cause a error. The good news is i don't need to get tested tell 2019

Once you get that downpipe in you'll never want to touch it again. At least on stock turbo. I thought I remembered throwing 2 codes when I went catless, but I'm not positive. It's been a while.

Nah @Chemmedic had an e-test with no cats and it didn't register any codes, he would have past without egr but was throwing an evap system not ready (thinking he needs a new gas cap). If it wasn't for that we wouldn't have reinstalled the EGR, I say go try it without egr and catted, or go your e-test before you put the DP in

Really.... well that's promising news, cause none catted DP would save me a good chunk in change. I guess it all depends on what garage you take to it to.

It's all obd test, no visuals, the criteria is set by the mto, I guess some machines could be more sensitive than others. However if you get a Bluetooth adapter for your odb and PAY for torque app on your phone you can run the check to see what's ready and what's not, you're allowed one not ready, and that way you know if you have to reinstall the egr. (Which is doable in 40min or less).

Yes, but also i do say it all the time

It would of been more fitting if i said something like "Good news, everyone. I've taught the toaster to feel love. And Hermes returns from his vacation today."

That's funny you have emissions testing in Ontario cause here in Manitoba we don't.

Ontario is the only province that does, you can thank the liberals for that. Depending on where you live in ON you don't have to get the e-test

Put about 140km on the new internals, everything seems to be checking out, going to check the logs. But then its tune time!

Got my first revision from Jason, put 30km on it tonight. Even with this only being the first revision. I already notice a difference. Everything feels smoother. Can't wait to see what it is like dialed in.
