    Howdy -

I was on eBay hoping I could find a lightly used BNR or CS turbo and I came across this thing:

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/mazda-3-6-...pgrade-MS3-MS6-turbocharger-2-3L/283796946775

Even if I don't use it to replace my smoke screen generator, it's interesting to think about how that would drive. What do y'all think?

Edit because I posted tired: I already have my heart set on a BNR S2 so this is more of a thought exercise :)

For the money and the hassle of replacing a turbo why wouldn't you spend a little more and get one that's an actual upgrade?

From what I've heard they can be super on the miss side, spend the couple hundred extra and get yourself a legit turbo it'll last you and save you money in the long run

I already have my heart set on a small BNR turbo. It's more a thought exercise for me - it's kind of fun to hink about what an MZR with the CHRA from an S3 would drive like with the proper tuning since I used to be big into the VAG world.

You own a Mazdaspeed now, time to say goodbye to vag and join the gay side.

I've already accepted that my car is a trap. Looks curvy and sporty on the outside, but there's a pair of balls when you look underneath.

That wheel is good for about 325hp, not much improvement over stock.

Iirc the S2 used to use a 28 turbine wheel with a smaller comp wheel. the new s3 apparently uses a gen 2 2867. I would go S3
