If its the same ECU, should the AP even need to be reset? It should just think its reflashing normally...right?

Well, what happens is the AP marries itself to the ECU. The dealership changes the ECU and thus creating a seemingly new ECU to the AP. At least that's how i imagine it to be.

I believe the AP would look to a hard serial number, that would not change with software.

Maybe ask Cobb if they have experience with a dealer reflash?

Since everyone in my area claimed to have the parts that I needed that they did not actually have, I have decided to just bypass the K04 Coolant lines and just run oil cooled. I will not be running this turbo hard for break in, so I am not too worried about it. The turbo is probably already shot anyway.

    Funny story:
I sold my upgraded HPFP to a local since he was having trouble with his fuel pump. Not a big deal to me since I had a "spare" pump on the self. Turns out, the purchaser of my red car gave away my damaged I.E. internals from my FP testing days. The internals were ruined, scored, and did not slide thought the bore easily. I even told the guy not to use them. The guy that has the screwed up pump was running these! Lol. Wow.

So I went to install my spare pump that came with the car. I noticed the spill valve was not centered and since the pump looked like it has been at the bottom of the Dead Sea, I felt that a rebuild would be a good idea. As I wrenched the SV I noticed it was already loose and sure shit... the pump is missing parts, specifically the button Valve under the spill Valve. I can't help myself but laugh. Everything I touch seems to be screwed up in one way or the other. I'm trying to find my spare spill Valve parts, but I think I threw them away when I told myself I was done with this platform.

Thanks! I have lots of those. I need an actual pump housing.
Let's just trade cars. You can have this cursed car. It needs a stereo and boom boom zoom zoom in it anyway.

Either that or I can get some some 14x1.5 fittings and my brazing torch and make my own. I guess you mailing them would be pretty helpful. You have the two banjo bolts too? I don't usually accept help from anyone, but this would be nice if you had everything.

All I need is this piece. But if you want to mail the entire pump, that would be cool too. Thank you sir!

Grabbed the old lady and had her sit in the car and help me bleed my breaks. Will check tonight if there are any leaks or not. Also got the transmission topped off with fluid. If there are no problems, Tonight I will bring home an axle nut socket and will install them when I drop the car off of the stands.

Am thinking of going to U-Haul today and grabbing a car dolly or trailer. That way I can drop the car off at Mazda on my lunch on Wednesday for reprogram. We will see...

    Question.
I noticed that this part is missing as well. Does anyone know what this does or what it is called?
