I think you got the fail version of the Speed. If course I don't have my speed anymore so I can't go take a look. If it hasn't been figured out later I'll take a look at the service manual.

Speaking of which. I should probably go over my wiring for the OBD2 to the ECU to make sure all my connections are there. I have the PDF version on my desktop computer. I wish I had the actual book.

The numbers on my "black cube" say 250/0 47 then below that i think it says 573. Not sure what it is or does. Just has a 2 wire connector going to it and nothing else

Google says that thing is called Condensator resistor module... No idea what it does tho lol.

Yes! That's the bastard. I was confused when I saw an extra connector there.

Hope it is the engine key cube. It Completes a circuit to tell the ECU that there is an engine installed. (One can dream)

I could try and measure the resistance on it with the key on and see if you could find a resistor to bypass it but it sounds like it might just be a noise reducer so engine noise isnt traveling through your ground but thats only my guess.

A quick search for "coil resistor module" (knowing that "condensator" probably means "condenser" which often means "coil" says it's a "ballast resistor". It sounds like they just damp the ignition circuit some, preventing overcurrent to the electronics and probably slowing spark plug erosion.
