I'll finally put together, yes. No rubbing on the passenger side.

    Edit: No spacer.

This is true, I am just a cheap ass I guess. That's alright quoting is for for the organized and that's not me.

In other news, last night I was going over my coolant lines and getting ready to fill, and I saw a standard hose clamp that was put on the main thermostat hose. I did not like it. It bothered me, I foresaw the clamp digging into the hose over time and leaking. So I ripped my IM off and put a spring clap on it.

My passenger side front caliper was leaking at the outer bleed screw. I tightened it a bit more, I don't want to strip the damn thing. Seemed to not be leaking this morning, so that is a plus.

Talked to some jerkoff at Mazda. Told them I would like to come in and get my ECU and keys reprogrammed. The guy on the phone says "well we have to charge you a $275 diagnostic fee on top of what the reprogram will be." I got into an argument with the guy about how I just wanted this service done without a diagnosis. "Sorry we don't do that"
They are going to bend me over backwards for this reprogramming...

I know back when I lived in Texas, there were companies that would come out to us at the shop and could reprogram whatever we needed. I would do some online searches to see if you can find one of those companies. It would save you from dealing with dipshit service advisors and renting a uhaul.

You could also pull the ECU and send the keys to any Mazda dealer and they should be able to reprogram it. Maybe @Raider can help out?

    crapatalk it sucks for free

Great idea. Only 8 hours away from my house, lol. But I may resort to something similar. I'm still not denying that I may have screwed up a wire during my installation. I'll have fun playing peekaboo with all the wires. Probably do that tonight.

I think you should take everything apart to check for mistakes

    All fuses are good :-(

Yes! This is what I need to do. Retrace my steps, find the error.

I doubt it. The main harness looked really clean except for a few broke. Connectors.

Thanks @jsmith for the goodies! Definitely going to be a late night getting the turbo and exhaust in.

You know what I was thinking about this morning when I was waking up? The Crank Position sensor. I remember last night when I was under the car that is It looked oily. Why that's a concern? Well the engine bay had a layer of oil on it when the Previous owner had an oil failure. Which makes me think that this is a used sensor off of his old block.

Also, I am concerned that it may not be aligned properly. Giving the history of the build it is most likely the case. Curious where the best place is to buy the crank TDC SST tool, Mazda?

You can make your own bolt if you only need TDC. Ive made plenty for people as well.

Here is my print for what you need to make. You dont have to turn down the threads, I just do for a clean mating surface, but anything that is 38.5mm will work.

Beautiful. Thanks for the info. My 23¢ has now been justified.
