Long story. In the process of getting tuned by will at pdtuning. His response to my last logs was that I was showing misfire and high kr. Had a code for p0302. Will suggested replacing or cleaning my fuel injectors. I just finished installing new injectors(cs seals). Also changed my second catch can routing to run from pcv plate to vented can to valve cover. Blocked off intake breather. Also added a vent on the fill on valve cover. After getting everything back together went to start the car. It struggled a liot. I figured this was from having fuel line disconnected so I tried a few more times. Once it finally started it had a very rough idle and ltft were showing +10. I thought I missed or punctured something and had a vacuum leak. I smoked it through the intake and the only smoke was at the vented catch can and valve cover breather. With those blocked off I got nothing. Tried reinstalling the most recent tune and ltft went to -.16 at idle so I tried to take it for a drive. The car was barely drivable. Sputtering and backfiring and is now showing a p0301. Spark plugs were recently replaced with ngk and gapped at .024 per will. I'm at a loss now and don't really know where to go next.

I would suspect its not your injectors or spark plugs. They dont just go to shit from one day to the other. You need to make sure all the modifications you did with the catch cans and breather are correctly installed with corresponding one way valves, or check valves. If the engine is sucking air not seen through the MAF sensor you could have the problems you are describing.

Of course you didn't get the plugs on Amazon, right?

Also swap the coil pack for 2 and 4 and see if if moves.

There is just the one check valve coming off the pcv plate. Facing toward the occ.

No not off Amazon lol. Issue didn't start when I changed the plugs. It started after changing injectors and occ routing.

When you installed the injectors where they ultrasonic cleaned and flow tested?
Known working or some random ones?

post TP = + trims, air added or sucked in
You said nothing with smoke test so that's interesting.

Makes me think something is off with catch can set-up, no check valves in the OCC vents? Which brand of OCC? Got a diagram of set-up?

I will say I did cheap out and buy injectors off Amazon, so although they were new, who knows. They did look exactly like the ones that I pulled out though. Branding and all.

I'm running dual damond occ. One from pcv =>sealed can => one way valve => IM.

The other pcv plate => one way valve => vented can => valve cover.

When I smoked it originally I was getting smoke from the occ vent and the valve cover breather. After sealing those I got nothing.

What were you asking me to post? I didn't u derstand that part.

    Thanks for your help!

yeah my monies on your amazon injectors mate, probably some shit reman or fake especially with will recommending replacing them, clean your old set (flow test and ultrasonic clean) injector Rx, heck graveyard performance offers a core service... put those in and return your amazon ones for not working.

so this setup for OCC sorry for some reason dual occ setup was not clicking. should be none issue as long as will is aware: Un-measured air flow under vacuum.

Well I guess those will be getting shipped out. Will recommended prior to the Amazon install.

Yes that's the set up I'm running. Sorry I was too lazy to gram the diagram. So the tune hasn't accounted for that set up. Before I was running valve cover to can to intake. Could that be a problem?

Amazon has fake NGK and injectors to name a few.

No, not having it accounted for in the tune is not an issue at all /s I hate repeating myself, it needs to be accounted for due to the unmeasured air during vaccum (idle / driving without boost).

Edit here's the Damond blog https://damondmotorsports.com/blogs/damond-blog/53965956-bye-bye-blow-by

I'm sorry man I wasn't trying to make you repeat yourself. I appreciate the help. Hopefully getting the old injectors cleaned and installed does the trick.

Here's hoping, I'd do an Amazon return as "not compatible" and leave a 1 star review when /if it works.

Also when you get your injectors back make sure their pins are straight. I recently had an issue where one was bent and was throwing p0202 even with the harness "seated".

Did you ever figure out what was causing your misfire? I am having this exact same issue except I got my injectors ultrasonic cleaned as mentioned above and still have the #2 misfire. Literally happened the exact same way, after routing the dual occ setup.

Did you route the cans as per the diagrams above? With check valves?
