Yeah I was surprised. but you said the line coming off the oil cooler was 5/8" I believe, and when I tried a 5/8" barb it was crazy loose. Tried my 3/4" and it fit like a glove. So not sure whats going on there.

No the line off the oil cooler that has the 90 bend is 3/4,then we run the union and step it to 5/8 all the way to the firewall

Ah the hose coming off the firewall which I connected to was 3/4 too. Maybe that hose goes down to 5/8 at the actual firewall?

Did a thing today. Made a ECU mount out of scrap lexan I had. It's so secure now it's not even funny compared to the velcro. Plus the temperature swings here in MI kept causing the glue to fail on the velcro.

I am really glad I keep up on your thread. I just found that I wore a hole on my turbo coolant return line due to the metal tee coming off the hard line rubbing against the turbo. I thought it wouldn't be enough to damage the coolant line but clearly I was wrong.

Here you go Tommy. This is what I used. I had some of it on hand and acquired some though work, but the total on Mcmaster says $39.75. You might be able to find it cheaper elsewhere, not sure. There are also things that come in packs, so you will have a few extra of things.

    (1) 4429K201 - Low-Pressure Brass Threaded Pipe Fitting, Inline Tee Reducer, 1/2 x 1/4 NPT Female
    (2) 5346K68 - Brass Barbed Hose Fitting, 3/4" Hose ID, 1/2 NPTF Male End
    (1) 4429K666 - Low-Pressure Brass Threaded Pipe Fitting Bushing Adapter W/Hex Body, 1/2 Male X 3/8 Fem NPT
    (1) 5346K26 - Brass Barbed Hose Fitting, 5/16" Hose ID, 3/8 NPTF Male End, packs of 5
    (1) 91355K87 - Brass Barbed Hose Fitting, Straight Connectors for 3/4" Hose ID, packs of 2

Then about 3' of 3/4" hose, and if you need it for the turbo maybe 6-8" of 5/16" hose

Thank you very much! I will be ordering this shortly so I can get my car back together yet again. I have the hardline ready to come out. Did you just cap off the coolant line for the throttle body? I have it bypassed now but I do not see a reason to keep the bypass when I can just eliminate it. Any reason to not do that?

Yeah, forgot about that. I had it caped off before, so this just eliminates it.

McMaster ships same day for 99% of things. You'll probably have it Wednesday or earlier if your order is already in.

There is a giant warehouse just outside of Chicago too. So when I order at 5pm, I have it at 10am the next day

Looks like everything came from the IL facility. 3 days isn't so bad to reach CO.

I did not do my due diligence when ordering these fittings but the tee is 1/4 and the turbo coolant return fittings I ordered were 3/8 so I had to go pick up a 1/4 npt male lol. I did not use the adapter either. I think the tee was supposed to not be a reducer. Like all 3 legs 1/2 npt. But seeing as you can get a reducer tee you will save like $3 buying this reducer tee and the 1/4 npt fitting.

No worries. The store near my parents place had the one last part I needed.

So Im a dumb ass and was working on my spare fuel pump basket when I dropped it on a tial floor and broke the nipple off.
    Capture.JPG

luckily I found someone who shipped me a spare for the cost of shipping, but I wanted to fix mine as well. So a bit of time on the lathe and hopefully I can thread this in there:

Other than that. its just been chasing leaks (coolant and oil) Hopefully both are fixed, but if Im still leaking oil, I think its the timing cover, so that will suck a lot.

Out of town next week, but hopefully I can get things up and running here soon.
