The check quick release is a nice idea. Mine goes to the manifold though, so hopefully that wont be coming off again anytime soon. (The JMF is kinda a pain in the ass to install/remove)

I was using 6th port systems as a guide line. Im running smaller injectors (630cc) for my PI, so I am running a return-less and now regulator-less system like you would for 6th port.

Haha yep, that and having to move the PS pump for one. Really hate doing that ever time.

I kept that bolt in on the stock mani too so I had to do that with the stock mani too. I just ordered a new clutch for my car so hopefully its back up and running within the next week or two. Been dying for boost ever since I got a taste of it. Got 5 logs out of the twin disk.

Well did my first log today since last fall. New JMF manifold is the only real change. Same tune as before, which is my daily 93 tune @22 psi. Looks pretty good. Bit of KR at the 5k range, but I want to do another log or 2 to see if its really there or if thats a fluke. It was also only 45 degrees out, so I saw 110 IDC which is a fair bit higher than I really want to be at, but those go down as temps go up. Flowing like 460g/s according to the log. 13147533_10108210913859624_7549908938062617724_o.jpg

Decided to turn on the meth last night. Will says the afr at the beginning was an air pocket most likely (didn't prime the system well enough)

Can't wait to get PI running. Car just goes right now.

@Easter Bunny do I look fast yet?

Got this bitch in this weekend. Sucked, but its in there. Need to seal it up, but wanted to make sure it was running correctly before I did.

Hopefully I can get going on the tune for it now too. Get rid of the meth issues Ive been having.

I was so close to having my PI set up all done 2 weeks ago. Swapped out my intank fuel pump with a DW300C, got my PI tune and program from Will at PD and went to program my Split Second controller only to find I didn’t have the USB to Serial cable I thought I had. Annoying.

Ordered the cable on amazon and wait my 2 days to get it. Mean while I drive the car to work, only to end up stuck on the side of the road. Throttle pedal just gave out and I had no power, coasted to a stop, and the car wouldn’t restart. Fuel pressure on the AP was 9 and zero on my gauge connected to my PI rail. I assumed my new pump had failed after reading info on the internet. Swap in old basket and stock pump on the side of the road after a co-worker took me home to get it. Get the car back home and test the basket with the DW300C in it. Testing it when the car was turned on, the pump would move fluid out, but it wasn’t very powerful. Again assuming failed/failing pump I email DW. They have me look at the sealing O-ring on the top of the pump and sure enough, split in half. Sucks, but DW was nice enough to ship me a couple new ones free of charge, but again, waiting 3 more days to be ready to go.

Now a week and a half after I was hoping to be going, Ive finally got my new O-rings in with the larger pump, everything seems good to go. Go to flash the map on the split second controller and the program crashes. Every time I try to connect to the car, the program crashes. Try updating the drivers, re-installing the program, doing everything I can think of, no luck. At this point its Friday night and I cant get ahold of Split Second until Monday.

Now its Monday, talked to split second and apparently I have a cord with a chipset that their program sometimes doesn’t like. So the cable I ordered with the DB-9 chipset is a paper weight and I now get to wait 2 more days for a cord with a FTDI driver. Apparently that one should work according to them.

So assuming everything goes to plan, now 2.5 weeks behind where I was hoping to be. I should be up and running towards the end of this week. But we will see as Im sure something new will pop up.

The way you said you lost throttle i immediately thought it was something more catastrophic. Glad it wasnt.

Did my first log with the PI spraying this morning. Didnt blow up, so thats step 1. Seems like everything is working as it should. Now just waiting for the revision and to see what this turbo can do. Probably going to just pull the meth kit when Im done, I have a feeling its going to be over kill on my set up.
