    Continued.....

    January 19 2016,
Cleaned up the engine bay a little bit... unfortunately the car started running a little rough.

So.... I pulled that mofo out!

The motor is off getting built by Ebtec in Atlanta, thanks to Chris Murphy for the help on that.. In the mean time I will be completely cleaning out the bay, replacing parts here and there and getting the injectors cleaned and tested.

I am unsure if this is normal with injectors with the seals but they are pretty grimy...

    Update: new Seals:

Also... If anyone who is reading this can point me in the right direction for a replacement connector for the alternator. I sort of cracked the clip when I was removing it.
[IMG] Update: I found a connector that works.... [IMG]

    Feb 21, 2016,

Gutted the engine bay and clean and coated:

For the turbo, manifold, and WG I went with the BB PTE5862, CPE mani/Tial WG combo from Edge. ACT 6puck plus a bunch of new SS lines and fittings throughout the car.

Breaking down the PS pump for a rebuild...

I'm told 2 more weeks for the motor.

Gives me enough time to get the last few items I need and this thing should be like a whole new car.. Should be a beast!

EBTEC is small with a backlog of work. I visited back in October and their lot was full of cars waiting for work. I had a running car so didn't press them, would rather they not rush the build.

yeah... I'm in no rush... I talked to Chris a couple days ago and said it had just come back from the machine shop. I have another car as well definitely don't want them rushing anything either. I have been there before... there were tons of cars in the lot. Seems like a fun place to work.

Nice build so far...i like what you did with the bay. What did you use to coat it with? I pulled my motor a few weeks ago after I went ZZB last summer and desperately need to clean and seal the whole area.

Injector Rx has finished the cleaning.. results below.

@Enki What is the norm? Spray pattern is "fair" should I use my other injectors, will these be fine? Any recommendations on the Injector #2?

Looks like injector 2 should go in cylinder 3, methinks... Can we get a Motorhead in here to verify?
