It doesn't increase boost air temperatures when used in combination with a factory top mounted intercooler with factory ducting in place.

Very nice. I had to do mine custom a two years ago. I used this gutter guard from Lowe's:

Then I cut and massaged it into this shape:




It'll be nice to have an out-of-the-box solution. I spend a lot of time making everything work correctly. Materials were very inexpensive, but I spend a lot of time on it. Paying for the convenience of a tested/proven solution is a great option.

Is it just the mesh or does it come with a whole new scoop?

Installed my insert yesterday. It's a 5 minutes job and the final product looks factory. The price point seemed high to me at first but making your own insert of comparable quality and fit/finish would be a major pain in the ass. It was worth the money to me.

Thank you for the reply. Now I need to decide what I prefer to do because I love all the color options!

 

I went with black. It looks very good and could pass as a factory part.

 

What color is your Speed?

I have a White one. I'd love it if I could get this type of mesh on an aftermarket cone. The only meshes I find have bigger openings and they are all black so these multiple colors ones are awesome.

 

My Speed is silver so the black insert kinda stands out and blends in at the same time.
