I managed to get myself on the podium at the Rose Cup races this past weekend.

4th overall in the entire group and 3rd in class out of 20 something cars. I also posted my fastest lap ever on the last lap which was a nice way to finish the weekend.

Nice job! I really wanted to go watch but was out of town. Always a great weekend of racing.

Yes it is a 2015 Mazda 3 sedan, a 2.5 model. It is pretty fast in a straight line, we are still working on the handling in corners.

    Congrats!

What mods do you have on this Mazda3?

T4 allows an intake, tune, swaybars, exhaust of any kind which exits in the stockish area, any non adjustable shock and some other things. The Mazda 3 specifically is allowed 500lb max front and 800lb max rear springs.

We are still struggling with handling on the car and no LSD which makes for a burnout session coming out of slow corners.

    Thanks for the info.

Yeah first thing I noticed when I test drove a Mazdaspeed3, was how easy it was to do a quick 90 degree left/right turn from a stop without spinning my inside tires.
