    Did some searching and see threads saying either a pcv valve or check valve can be used. It seems like more threads push a one way check valve...

    I ordered a check valve but the seller shipped a 3/8. Pretty sure I can't put the smaller one in without causing a problem. Is it ok to use a pcv or should I buy a check valve? Cheaper to get a pcv...

    How are you routing the occ? I have factory PCV into a catch can into a check valve into the intake mani. Without that check valve before the manifold, the can would get pressurized.

    Routing the same as every other one does. Not on the car yet. Was considering a 2nd pcv valve in place of the check valve after the catch can

    Could I use the 3/8 check valve or is that too restrictive?

    I believe the factory pvc also limits the flow from vacume FWIW.
    Edit: was giving blood so i made it short.
    You want the pvc valve. Then use a check valve just incase it ever fails. Its important. You can also get a t and a second check valve that VTA if there is any crankcase pressure under wot.
    It would look like this. The ...... are for spacing so it looks right on the post because phone.
    ...................VTA
    ................[ CV ^]

    Pvc-------[t fitting]--------[CV--->]----mani

    a backup release valve is a good option, not doing it cost me a whole car in 2016 when it froze and the oil spill catched fire
