In 2018, I was 4th in class. In 2019, I was 2nd. 2020 Nats was canceled, so we'll try it again this year. I'll post the winter projects soon...

Awesome stuff. Where is the best place to research SCCA racing? I've been wanting to do some autocross and track days with my speed6.

I think there's a few on my channel:

scca.com to find your region, but you may find that you have some local non-SCCA clubs that run events, as well. Your region should have their own website with their schedule.

    What area are you in?

Dallas Texas area, so im sure there is stuff going on. It looks like with a minimal amount of work i could get my car legal for Street touring STX class. i am curious about how strict they are about the car rules in regards to things that are slightly outside the rules. For instance showing up with an 8.5" wide wheel when the class calls for 8.0" max?

IMO, just go out and run it in whatever class you fall into. If that's SM or SP, so be it. When first starting out, classing doesn't matter. If you like it and get into it, start looking at class rules. Until then, just have fun.
