I'm putting a bunch of new fun stuff in my Gen 1:

    Corksport High-flow Cat Pipe
    Corksport Downpipe
    Corksport HPFP
    CST4 Turbo

Naturally along with that is the Accessport and a new MAP sensor. Tune will be by Dramatune, based on a Corksport recommendation.

Currently the only thing beyond stock is a Mazdaspeed OEM cold air intake.

Any guesses how much power I can expect with all that? I'm thinking definitely over 300hp, but no idea what exactly. I should have it back from the shop soon, then off for my first time at a track next week.

Youll be able to max the stock fuel system out with that turbo so proabably mid to high 300s depending on if you go with an e mix or not

Probably like 250 whp since you're being tuned by dramatune. If it's the CS map sensor I'm sure it'll fail as they seem too. I'd upgrade that intake to about 3" as it'll choke that cst4 real hard, cold air intakes really aren't needed for speeds. then go tune with freektune or purpledrank then sure you'll get your 300whp mark.

I had a under 3" intake piping... Cst4 pulling it through, and can definitely say... Gotta have a 3" or more. Yes maf calibration is a must.. And if you are paying for a tune. My JBR true 3.5 was a huge improvement, yes idle maf cal will be not as sensitive as stock or slightly higher rpm at idle to just above.
Big deal, you are asking for HP... And leaving free HP with that intake size choice.

Yeah, I was thinking the nice shiny OEM cold intake needed to go. If I want to get the most out of that CST4, what's the best option? I'm thinking I might move the battery to the trunk, and go with the CS 4" intake. Should be plenty. But there are so many other intakes. I just liked the number 4. It's big.

One of the people that works for Corksport is good friends with the owner of Dramatune. If that wasn't disclosed during suggestion, then it's a dishonest practice that could come back to bite them in the ass.

Go HTP or RamFab 3-3.5in if you can find one on Facebook or somehwere. JBR is good too but the fitment blows dick and the non integrated maf housing is ugly

3" intake is plenty. 4" would be overkill BUT that being said sure if you wanted to relocate the batter and enjoy the 4" look why not as long as MAF cal is done in tune.

Go for a solid one piece intake: HTP, ramfab or late night racing (actually a forum sponsor) will also make the intakes

If you like keeping your motor intact don't use dramatune

JBR 3.5" truepath fitment is disappointing. I had to cut off 1 1/2" of tubing to keep from hitting headlamp housing. Must relocate ECU or small battery. Did both anyway. So I would recommend another than this one. Satisfied after all done. Just a a heads up on the upgrade path, you Will be doing more than you expect :)

Damn that’s ass hah. Ew it’s the silicone version also. I have the full aluminum. Was able to fit a 6.5in filter on it. I recently saw a dude with a 8-9in filter on it.

my picture doesn’t do it justice but you can see the way the end it angled there’s not a straight spot for the coupler to evenly sit on. Would be better with a 51r battery tbf but shits still BOOF.

Thanks for all this. Not going to use Dramatune, and definitely getting a bigger intake. I decided to go with the monster 4" so I have plenty of room to add power in the future. I don't see doing the big investment for aux fuel and a new turbo any time soon, but it seems like I might as well have the breathing room. This is all beyond exciting.

Make sure you get yourself a 51r battery and tray/box, will also need to relocate ecu if the tray/box doesn’t come with a spot.

Yep, I ordered the 51r battery tray. It's pricey for a battery tray, but probably the only thing that will fit with that monster intake.

Got the car back from the shop with the CS downpipe and the CST4 in it. It is a beast. The intake is really holding it back, so the tune is only running 15psi of boost. Now I have the big intake sitting in my basement, so I'm dying to get it in there. Off to the track tomorrow morning.

Tldr he has no idea what he is doing

    Short history

blew up about half of the motors he was tuning in a span of six months

Tuned a full bolt on upgraded turbo car that put down less than a freektune ko4 and told the owner it was fine

Was caught copying tunes from other tuners tweaking a few parameters and calling it good

Cant successfuly get a MAF calibration correct

That's just what I remember off the top of my head and I don't have Facebook so i missed most of the drama
