As everyone was so excited to get the brackets delivered, it appears that not all of the necessary hardware was shipped out. I seek to remedy this by telling you what you'll need:

    upload_2017-3-1_20-42-41.png
    1) You're going to need ~16 of the washers on the left. Try to choose ones that are at least 2mm thick and SS for corrosion resistance. They serve to go between the car's body panel and the back of the bracket. You shim with them to give yourself clearance to get at the back of the hardware and have enough adjustment room for your pins to go out far enough, or be recessed in enough, depending on your need. Having 4 for each mounting point is recommended. I plan on using 3, but better to have more than needed over less.

    2) Most of you will need 4 of the large diameter washers on the right. You'll need two for each stud you mount on the brackets. I'm using both slots on the brackets, so I need 8, but I understand many of you are only using the one slot on the bracket and using the other fix for the location nearer the tire. These are VERY IMPORTANT because if the washers you use to mount the studs are too small in diameter, you won't be able to use the full range of adjustment afforded you by the slots. We made the slots large on purpose for this very reason: a lot of adjustability. Also very important: take a stud with you when you get these to MAKE SURE it'll fit inside the hole. I've found that some of my washers are loose and others are very tight, even though they're the identical part number. The manufacturing of the washers apparently has a fair amount of variance in those holes, so CHECK EACH ONE YOU BUY.

    Here's how everything goes together:
    upload_2017-3-1_20-56-37.png
You can use a lock washer and a regular nut on the back, or a nylon locknut. I personally found that the nylon lock nuts are lower profile, so give more room to work. According to Raider, your studs are the same as mine: 1.25" long, M6 x 1.0 thread, but make sure to bring a stud along to check everything you buy! Other Pics:
    upload_2017-3-1_20-59-25.png
(with nylon locknut - only hand tight - it can go down much farther)

    upload_2017-3-1_21-0-38.png
(with a lock washer and a regular nut)

    upload_2017-3-1_21-1-57.png
(Front side with a SS nut instead. I'm probably going to use all SS nuts instead of the black ones, just for consistency).

    So, takeaways:
    1) Get ~16 2mm thick SS washers for shimming between the bracket and the car panel. I recommend removing one of those bolts from the car to ENSURE the holes on these 2mm thick shimming washers will allow the bolt to fit through.

    2) Get 2 large diameter SS washers for EACH stud you plan on mounting in the slots of the brackets. If you're only going to use one bracket slot per side, get 4; if you're going to use both bracket slots on each side, get 8. MAKE SURE you take a stud with you to ensure it fits through the washer holes, as I've had them vary in size even on the EXACT SAME part #.

    3) You can use the regular nuts and lock washers already provided for the back side of each bracket, or you can get 1 nylon SS locknut for the back side of EACH stud you plan on mounting in a bracket slot. So you'll need either 2, or 4. These are M6 x 1.0 thread pitch nuts, just like the studs. Again, BRING A STUD to test fitment.

Hopefully this all makes sense. We're REALLY sorry about the inconvenience, but throwing this all together required a lot of work on the part of a lot of people. It makes sense a few minor things slipped through the cracks; nothing a quick trip to ACE won't solve.

Can a mod tag CGPhotographers, please? I tried, but I can't get it to work. I wanted to get the word out to all the purchasers. @neganox @Adamizme or @Raider , a little help, please? Thanks!

I'm sorry about the mixup, everyone. I will make it right. I will obtain and ship out the proper hardware, or send $ back to cover you in getting them.

@Redline, are you reusing the OEM bolt to mount these then, or do I need to get longer ones?

@Raider I don't need money back or for you to ship out washers. I'll get the washers on my own. I appreciate all the work that went into getting this designed, built, and shipped. That takes a crap load of time. This means you'll have it setup perfect for the next round. Thanks for everything and to everyone who participated in this effort.

I agree 100% I'll be fine with the brackets as is. Going to be an order of magnitude better than the field engineered mess I would have cobbled together in my own.

When I get to work on this I will measure up everything and get spacers made instead of stacking washers. I will make all of the info public for those who want it.

Yeah, definitely. It looks like you need 2mm spacer since the fender is at the same angle as the bracket. So some stock tubing cut in 2 mm lengths. I was thinking I would need to cut it at an angle. Should be a lot easier than my clocked S4 IWG bracket haha.

Make me two sets and let me know what it costs. I'll touch your balls when you hand them to me, as a tip. We could even play just the tip of thwy work.

Ugh, I can make spacers for people if raider wants. Im not sure why they are even needed, I thought this was all sorted out with the 3d printed ones I made redline.

Im kinda frustrated with how this all turned out. Im out a fair bit of money and time on this and I would handle things differently if I went back to the begining. I shouldnt have taken on this project without a car to do the testing on myself. There is just too much room for error relying on other people.

I reuse the stock bolts which normally mount the composite bumper tab receivers. The have lots of threads and are fine with 2-4 2mm shimming washers. I wouldn't recommend 7-8 shimming washers, though. That doesn't leave many threads remaining. That's why we extended the standoffs: 1) minimize shimming; 2) retain a good number of threads mounting the brackets to the body; 3) giving more room to access the back of the brackets for stud location fine-tuning.
    [doublepost=1488485394][/doublepost]
I hear ya, Ken. The problem is that the stand-offs aren't the same on both sides in terms of length and bending angles. I'm not blaming you. Either the manufacturer used the wrong file, or it could be a QC issue. The final version of the 3d printed brackets you sent me were perfect. I have no idea why the SS ones were different, besides the two possibilities I mentioned above.

I got my brackets today. The 2 small standoffs definitely have a different bend length and angle, nothing that can't be worked with though.

@Redline, did you finish the install? Will this secure the bumper and help with bumper alignment as originally intended? Update on impressions?
