I recently bought a fuel pressure gauge to keep track of my fuel pressure regulator.
I ran the line through the hood release spot. I removed the battery and then ran a coat wire through there.

The pod actually came out in two parts BUT I am pretty sure you can get it out in one. I used a plastic trim removal tool to get the center section popped out then all you need to do is twist the silver section to unlock it and it will slip right out.

You can see the path that the channels slide out.

I then got the RPM piece ready by putting the gauge in it.

I ran the wires over to my existing gauges. The only firewall wires were for the fuel pressure sensor. I will try and add wiring info later if I get a chance. I used an add a fuse for the passenger side fuse box.

Running the wire thru the hood release spot is a clean install. Looking good.
