These just came in from the machine shop. The top plates are being sent off to get powder coated (in house powder coating is currently down). I am going to do the batch of 30 in 2 colors. I just want your guys opinion of colors. The weight plates are made from 304SS and the bottom plates are now thicker & threaded so we don't have to weld a nut on anymore.

Shift performance is the same as the v1, but incase you were wondering what is different about the v2 vs the v1, read below.

"Shift hammer V2 is coming - We have re-designed the shift hammer. The v1 version we were selling is my 3rd design & it really does work amazing! There was nothing wrong with this design. I re-designed the shift hammer in order to make manufacturing a little easier. The new version will include 2 weight plates(we won't sell a +1 kit separately anymore) & the price will drop a little bit. Part of the redesign should also help fitment with some popular fmic piping like the cx racing. The shifting improvements will stay the same. "

    So what really changed?

The weights do not extend as far as the v1 for better fitment / less interference with fmic piping. There wasn't an issue with v1, but some cars it got really close.

The shifting is going to allow for about 2-3% shorter throw over v1.

& the weights are stainless steel and won't be powder coated.

The v2 should be releasing next week and will have an introductory price of $54.99 & I will have a 10% off code for the forum.

Very nice! How are these weight plates compared to the original? They look like they may be of varying thickness for more options of different weight?

The weights are thicker material, but smaller in overall size. The total weight of the setup is slightly less than the v1. You still have a good range of tuneability.

I know the v2's are just starting to arrive, but we have been getting great reviews / feedback so far on these.

If you have one of these & want to share your experience, feel free to start a review thread on the V2 shift hammer. We would really appreciate it!

Ill say that your packaging is top notch. Just put the V2 on last night so ill need a couple of days to adjust to the feel, or make adjustments.

I'll Likely set mine just off shortest. a little tight getting into second. or i might need to check the cable setting. Ive got the JBR shifter in as well. Talk about a short throw.

I recommend setting to the longest shift throw setting when using with a short throw shifter, but it's up to driver preference. Also, make sure you do a shift linkage adjustment at the shifter base.

    Looking forward to the feedback.

When going to a lighter weight setup like this the shifts feel very positive like a rear wheel drive shifter & not a loose / soft feeling like with a cable shifted setup. It is a very different feeling for sure. But I hope you are noticing the improvements when shifting at wot.
