Yep, something went wrong. One correct bracket was made with a long stand-off on one side, and a short on the other. Another bracket was made with only the longer stand-off. Something got messed up. I'm hoping it was the manufacturer's error so they take full responsibility in fixing it quickly.

Nooo... say it isn't so! As a side note I don't remember seeing anything about what the brackets themselves were made of (kind of looks like stainless). They also look pretty stout so they should be plenty strong to hold the bumper up at speed.

Hmm, I will have to look at what what sent. I drew these correct I believe, but who knows what happened here.

I'm actually out of town on a work trip till Thursday, but as soon as I'm back I will dig into it and figure out what happened.

Yeah, every printed revision you did with me was perfect in how you implemented the adjustments. I have no idea how the one bracket ended up losing the shorter stand-off altogether.

Thanks, @Maisonvi and @Raider, for taking care of this for us and getting this sorted. They are thick stainless @nekret and were designed to be very robust; good eye. Ken chose a gauge of stock he said will be very strong.

Good eye. I'm glad this was spotted before they were shipped out.

I will be re-ordering the correct bracket once we get it sorted. Sucks it happened, thanks @Redline for spotting it.

Can't you use aluminum spacers to lift up the end with the unintended flat tab?

I can't imagine all the bad brackets are pure waste.

Well I'm waiting on @Maisonvi for a solution. Yeah it's a lot of $ on the line to make it right.

That's not gonna work well. One of the issues I ran into with using all those washers is that you start quickly running out of threads on the mounting bolt. Can you get a new, longer mounting bolt? Yes. But ultimately the brackets need to be manufactured to spec for them to work as intended with the OEM hardware, and the brackets' hardware too.

    Aluminum stand-off. Problem solved.

Edit: nevermind, Redline beat me to post. Carry on.

It'd be nice, but see above (looks like you already saw).

Was the wrong file sent? I hope not, for the sake of cost, because the manufacturer would be responsible for cutting/bending new brackets at no charge, then. If the wrong file was sent, then hopefully the manufacturer can be understanding and cut a deal for the replacement/correct brackets for the one side that only has one stand-off instead of the two stand-offs that are needed.

What confuses me the most is we never had a version that had only one extended stand-off. From the very first iteration, stand-offs were on both sides. To my knowledge, there was never a file that had only one stand-off unless Ken was saving multiple files as he added features. Here is part of the very first chicken-scratch diagram that I sent him. As you can see, stand-offs are indicated on both sides from the very start. We eventually lengthened them even more:

So this one is 100% my fault. I sent @Raider one of the wrong files. Not thrilled with myself. Too much on my plate and I didn't double check what I was sending. I know better than that.

I can make up a spacer to make it work, but if there is issues with the threads that might not be the right solution. Is it just a bolt that holds the edge of the bracket on there? I can supply longer bolts if thats what is needed. I will have to look into how the mounting works before we have a solution. That or I will have to put something towards eating the cost of my mistake.

If the spacers will work, I will crank them out so we can get these brackets to people ASAP.

It's the OEM bolt on the front and the OEM bolt on the back that holds the bracket in place. Part of the reason we made the stand-offs so long is that I was having to use like 8 SS washers for clearance and had very few threads left on the stand-off in question that isn't on the one bracket of the production run. The stand-off length we settled on will work with only 2-3 washers, depending on their thickness, maybe 4. But well definitely need new OEM-quality/style bolts that are the amount longer that the stand-off would've offset.

Personally, I'd like two symmetrical brackets that are the final, approved design. But I get cost. And @Maisonvi did a favor in helping getting this going. I'm just a little sad that it didn't turn out as we finalized. We both spent a lot of time/effort on this. In the end, as long as everything fits fine/geometry is good, that's what matters. Now we know for the future if another run is made. If so, I'd definitely be first in line for a replacement bracket (meaning I'd sign up with a quickness).

I agree, both sides should be symmetrical.
    Idea:
1)Combine the correct brackets into sets
    2) have more of the correct brackets made
    3) sell the incorrect brackets as sets. Maybe as blemishes and have the purchaser source solutions for the standoff

It's one side that is not correct. We are ordering another batch but correct.

For symmetry, we would need to order another batch with the standoff missing for the other side, and include spacers and longer bolt.

That probably isn't a great idea then...I thought the sides were interchangeable.
