    I had a brain fart and completely forgot about your build thread. My bad!

    [doublepost=1533578326][/doublepost]But my question was if those were the reinforced wheels or not. I found a set online but they are not the reinforced set and am now hesitant to buy them if it makes that much of a difference.

    Don't mind the granny shift (I don't have a wot box, so I can't FFS with the PI spraying ) , but here's a 3-4 pull on the ET streets. Traction is awesome and the car doesn't tq steer one bit. I didn't brake boost either

    [doublepost=1533754121][/doublepost]
    They are the reinforced ones. I wouldn't get the non-reinforced ones if you do any sort of hard turning. Back on the old forum, people had em Crack on runs thru the Dragon

    First of all, that pull made me moist. I can only imagine what a WotBox FFS would feel like pulling through the gears

    Second, I would only use the pair for front tires for the strip, no kind of cornering. Just straight line. I'm only making like 380 or so (stock block), so I figured they may be fine. But I wanted to know for sure.

    So vd seems to sketch out a bit at higher hp levels. My 60-100 time corrected for tire size in the quoted graph was 4.375 seconds. That map is what made 575/467tq on an actual dyno .

    Took a log tonight on a revised map tonight in 4th gear 60-100 corrected for tire size was 4.253 seconds, but the vd graph showed 100whp less, which we know isn't true Lmao.

    Anyways, here's a vid of a 4th gear sweep on the latest map. Which should have a flatter tq curve than my 575whp/467tq dyno map, and it's holding 35 psi from 5200rpm now to Rev limit, rather than from 6k to Rev limit. So it should be making some more powa up top as well

    I love data!that is all..
    The little spike in IDC to 90% is actually the DI pushing hard to try and maintain 12.0 afr target where I have a lean spot. Need to touch up the split second controller map between 4400rpm-5800rpm (maf V of 3.7V-4.3V) where afr is 12.35, and DI IDC should hold a steady 80ish% from 4k to 7.3k without issue! Crazy how some small changes to the boost curve affect this. Post dyno back in July, Mark (@Realgib3) gave me some more boost between 4500-5500rpm , and an adjustment to hold 35-36 to the Rev limit; and fueling went from damn well dialed in, to bring thrown off from just a few psi boost increase in that thousand rpm range.

    Just getting to know the r4 software has made me enjoy tinkering with this car even more. Especially now that I don't have to bug the tuna to touch up little stuff like this. A few days ago, I made an adjustment for up top, and got that dialed in...now I can the mid range dialed in and it'll be perfect

    Also, WOT box came in the mail from @Maisonvi today. Can't wait to install it!!

    [doublepost=1534265615][/doublepost]Ight. So... 76,144 mile update.

    Motor has been burning about a half quart of oil between oil changes, so I figured id do a compression test today. Super pleased with the results, as this is probably one of the highest mileage built motors with 2618 pistons out there.
    Comp tested out to about 175psi across the board!

    Plugs look half decent for having nearly 10k miles on em as well. Yes, the tips are white from being "lean", but keep in mind, this motor has utilized lean cruising at low load it's entire life for them MPG'S ;)

    PS, don't ask your tuner for a lean burn tune. They'll call you crazy and won't give you one lol

    I'm gonna tell you now, if the WOTBOX won't communicate no matter what you try, it is that serial to USB cable. Took me a day to go through all the diagnosis to figure out I needed a new cable. The insignia one that Best Buy carries is the one I got, and it works flawlessly.

    Yeah, I won't even be trying the included cable I already have the insignia Cable for my split second controller, so I'll be continuing to use that

    WOT box is installed and programmed thanks to @etipp98 for the help with the wiring/soldering and Mark for letting us do it at his house! The no lift shift function on it is amazing ,I forgot how satisfying it was to FFS after not being able to do it for years due to aux fuel making me get locked out of gear because Cobb sucks and doesn't support us anymore, and being too poor/lazy to get a wot box

    Ran the wiring behind the firewall heat shield inside of some heater hose to keep it from getting damaged by heat from the exhaust mani as well

    So, today marks the 3 year anniversary of my long block being assembled and first start up on the built motor.

    Motor currently has 76,750 miles

    What better way to thank it for being mostly reliable than to beat the living shit out of it for its birthday !?

    E85 magic pixie dust.

    Looks normal to me, no idea why you want to clean it. :rolleyes:

    It helps the magic happen.

    Black death, they call it? It looks more like tan death, which I previously thought was just words for Toyotas.

    I swear you have the longest lasting built motor I've seen so far on this platform.

    4th gear sweep with some data overlaid .Boost is down across the entire power band due to the cold temps (low 50's) to keep everything in check (IAT COMP tables doin work!) . Still Makin 580-590/480tq according to VD at this lower boost level
