Got some new wheels for the summer thanks to Patrick finding me a deal. They're 17x9 +42 enkei rp01, With some 245/40/17 tires. Had to throw a 5mm spacer on the front to clear the coilovers. Very happy with how the car looks. I gotta raise the passenger rear up a tic as it lower than the driver side. Here's a pic!

Other than some North East Ohio aided rust, the car still looks good for being 9 years old and having 191k on the chassis

Those wheels are awesome! I initially thought they were RX-7 wheels, but then noticed they looked larger. How much camber are you running in the front and rear? Any rubbing?

    Rvan
Evan, - 1.9 and - 1.8 in the front, - 2.5 in the back. Ideally I'd want to run a degree less than that in the back, but they would rub. No rubbing the way it sits now

Getting the car ready for ENM, yesterday I bled the brakes and got some fresh wildwood 600 fluid. Thanks to Evan for helping me out with that. Then checked the tq on all of the suspension stuff. Did new moog rear endlinks Thursday night as well.
    The old fluid vs Gatorade

Went on a run through the valley later last night as a test run. The car feels quite solid and apparently I shoot some good sized flames :)

Today I went for a cruise again through the twisties and stopped to take a couple pics

That makes me happy knowing I can run 17x9 wheels without rubbing lol. Have you ever used Wilwood EXP 600 brake fluid before? That was basically my first brake mod at 30k miles and have used it ever since. This stuff works very well on the street and track!

Yessir. Been using that fluid for a while now. Although last time the system was bled was this time last year. So it was definitely time for fresh fluid.

Some minor updates. Took the car down to ENM at the Dragon and had a blast. On the way out, my exhaust got real loud and I figured one of the vband on my 2 piece Dp came loose as I could hear the turbo at all times. Turns out my Cp-e rmm and, jbr PMM, and stock TMM couldn't handle all the on/off throttle of the road's down there and all the motor flex put stress on the Dp snapped my downpipe right at one of the welds right after the primary o2. Was able to get it welded back together the day after by a friend.

    Here's the damage.

Luckily I won a damond gift card at ENM and used em towards these! Now to save up for the PMM, as the jbr one I have is obnoxious
    [IMG]

@Patrick Martz made me a new low pressure line yesterday! I like it

So today sucked. Had just picked up some beer, some chips and salsa and was about to make a 2 hour trek to Columbus for a friend's house warming party and the car started stumbling on me and died. Popped the hood and started looking around for issues and found my cylinder 1 Injector harness clip pulled off the Injector.

Couldn't get it back into place with the ps pump and manifold in the way, so for the first time in the 196k miles, I had to call a tow truck. Called AAA and requested a flatbed since the car is lowered, and they insisted it wasn't necessary, so I had to pull the front bumper to get enough clearance to get the car on there.

Got the car home, ripped everything apart and secured everything tightly. I did have to take the fuel rail off to get to the Injector as the clip was slightly damaged and would just pull off the Injector and I needed to secure it with some creativity and some zip ties and wire. I did notice that 4 of the 5 bolts holding the fuel rail to the head were loose when I pulled everything apart, I was able to remove them without needing a socket, which was pretty concerning. Not sure if that was something that was overlooked when the built motor was put in the car and things were transfered over, or if the insane vibrations from the shit jbr PMM rattled stuff loose. Either way, it's taken care of now

Got everything buttoned up and the car would turn over, but wouldn't start. It was throwing codes for accelerator pedal position, throttle position, cam sensor, and fuel pressure regulator. As soon as I would clear them, they came back.

Turned out the 15A engine bar 1 fuse was blown... No idea how... But maybe when the Injector harness plug came off the Injector, something shorted

Anyways, the car is running again. The only issue is, when the tow truck driver let my car off the truck, it ripped the passenger side skirt off, so I will have to get all new clips for it. Oh well, at least I can get to work on Monday!

Did it happen in front of you or did you discover after the fact?

Didn't notice til it was off the truck. The driver was kind enough to back the truck up and put my car in my garage before he let it down. It was in tact as he backed it in the garage, and must have pulled off when he put the car on the ground.

    Bump

The cause if the ENG BAR 1 fuse blowing was my the wires for my crank position sensor were no longer held close to the block because the clip holding them there, had broken. This allowed the harness to sag down and rub against the passenger axle causing an eventual short. Got that all fixed up and all is well.

Hoping to get on the dyno on June 4th and get her all dialed in and see what we can finish with on a stock clutch, keeping the tq down. The clutch on the car has over 210k miles at this point and has been holding 28psi up top worth of power for quite some time now. It came of a friend's ms6 with 156k on it when he swapped motors and was in extremely good condition for its age, so he kept it around; and when my 6 puck failed a week before ENM last year, we threw it in my car so I could make it to NC and it stayed in the car ever since lol. Not expecting it to last much longer, but I'll take it while it lasts :)

No major updates. Dyno time is scheduled for June 4th to wrap up the tune.

And I officially need a 3.5bar map sensor (should have it in before dyno time)

That sensor is a quick swap.
