    Kelford 247-C

The A and B cams can be run on any pistons.

The C and D require exhaust valve reliefs, which obviously my pistons have!

Totally unrelated, but was drinking with Mark and a few other buddies and we started watching some old videos of a friends evo. It ran some similar CR high comp pistons, revved to 10k,and ran 8's with a full interior. Such crazy sounds haha

    Couple updates:

    1. Headstuds and injector seals arrived yesterday.

    2. Got a call from wiseco this morning. They and Trend finished the upgraded custom wrist pins for me, however when they went to test fitment; they noticed the pin bore on the piston wasn't in spec anymore and that they'd have to hone the pin bore for the wrist pins to slide through properly. With that, they offered to remake the pistons for me at a deeeeply discounted price as those pistons had less than 3k street miles and only 3 passes down the 1320 before the wrist pins bent.

In addition to that, the guy Mike who I'm working with asked for measurements of stock and manley pistons to make a relief/notch to clear the oil squirters. Thanks to @KingScumbag for getting me those measurements promptly today.

Also, wiseco is well aware of the oil control ring issue. They say it is an issue with tension on the oil control ring. They are working with total seal to get me a custom set of rings to include with the new pistons!

Agreed! Very fortunate to have wiseco in my backyard essentially. Been a breeze working with them, and being able to just stop by and drop stuff off to them and voice any concerns when necessary

Moar update. Received a set of injectors and an injector harness from @JohnnyTightlips today. The injector harness has been modified/extended to relieve some of the tension from the big connector reaching around the jmf to reach the rest of the harness. Also dropped the Injectors off to Cleveland Injector hospital to get cleaned and have the filters/screens replaced with stainless steel ones.

Now just waiting on an update from wiseco on the pistons and kelford on the cams.

Once all that is squared away and the engine goes to the machine shop for the sleeves to get installed and bored out/honed for the pistons, I'll order the timing components, new valves and valve seals, oil pump and etc..

    Small update:

Got a call from Mike at Wiseco today. He found the original rendering and work/purchase order for the pistons from 2014. They are now finalizing the measurement and location for the relief on the piston skirt for the oil squirters and then will send me a rendering. Should be a few weeks til the pistons are made and at my door!
