I own a V3 guardian angel. It´s done its job plenty of times....until now. The internal map sensor took a shit. I emailed Stratified to ask if it relied on the built in sensor to function and that mine had failed. I got a bit of a runaround and no answer to my question at all. Well, the answer is no, it does not function as a boost failsafe if the internal map sensor fails (I was thinking maybe it relied on mechanical solenoid pressure for the failsafe feature just for this very reason). It blew right past the trigger point of 32 psi until my boost alert went off at 35 and I got off the gas. No harm or anything but it`s no good when your failsafe fails. I wish they would have just been direct with an answer. My methanol failsafe is tied to the GA, so it could have gotten ugly real quick.
