There is a company in UK called Total MPS and apparently they have developed a 50/50 AWD kit for all gen speeds. According to them it's a 4-6 week conversion process and they have everything you need.

Is there anyone in the community that has done this conversion? I doubt there's many because from talking to them shit runs about 12996.34 US for the full kit and 698 to shipping container it to the US.

For that price not including a transmission, you could buy a 6 and scrap parts for swap. Do they install it for you?

You can't just swap 6 parts on to a 3 though. It's not that easy.

Edit: I assume you meant swap parts on to a 3. You could buy a nice running speed 6 for that and call it a day for sure if that's what you were getting at

They are in the UK, but I would assume they can do it there locally.

And 13k is just parts, for the full kit that is.
I was emailing them they describe the two kits.
"We do 2 packages 1 doesn’t include all the drive gear ie speed 6 gearbox and transfer case and rear
    differential
Package 2 comes completely assembled rear sub frame with drive gear ets just remove your old frame and tack and just bolt that straight to rear of the car . you will need to modify your spare tyre well to accommodate the rear differential"
[doublepost=1455135880][/doublepost]Apparently this guy did it, or at least says he bought the AWD parts from Total MPS but idk

I just don't see the value. You could buy an actual awd car for the cost.

Of the 3 awd conversions I know of, 1 was a company (dg motorsports) one was a dude trying to be a pioneer and have fun, and last was Teo trying to push the absolute limit of a speed 3. But for the normal person I don't see the value of a $16k mod to a 3 to 9 year old car.

I heard that they used a Volvo deivetrain at 1st. I've met Gunther at few years back when came to a EpisodeM meet here in Orlando. Really nice guy. We talk a bit on Twitter and he is active.
    His account is www.Twitter.com/TotalMPS

I guess if you just had some extra money around and could dump it into your car, it wouldn't matter, but most people don't have that kind of money just lying around.

They don't. It's crazy but what a badass thing to have. Or...we can wait to see what Mazda does with this new MS3 also.

If Mazda came out with an AWD MS3, then I would assume nobody would buy this kit when they can buy a car that came from the factory with AWD.

Wasn't total mps the company that race tested all of sure's parts?

Totally not worth what they are charging.

Someone should really do this AND buy a Focus RS for a direct comparison. And have @Enki write it up, you know, for science...
