PS I bought another racecar. The total of racecars at my house exceeds street cars.

New racecar is a 92 Spec miata. Decent pile of spares, LSD is in good shape, should be a blast to drive.

IMG_20161029_133031778_HDR.jpg I did a hyperdrive this weekend for the first time. It was a lot of fun. I have a lot of things to work on. I'm hooked now.

How did the car handle? What are you going to adjust for next time?

The car handled great. First thing is I need to trust the car more. The car handled very well considering how many mistakes I was making. There is a long list of things I need to work on.
    1. Break hard before turn
    2. Get into desired gear before turn
    3. Heal-toe shifting
    4. Get better at turn entry
    5. Acceleration when exiting the turn
    6. Looking ahead
    7. Seat position

Those are the main things that I need to work on. Once I get better at driving I can fine tune the car better. I'm definitely going to do it again and considering climbing the HDPE ranks.
[doublepost=1477999057][/doublepost]It was a perfect day to drive.

heel-toeing in the three is a wonderful thing.
Don't be afraid of the revs on corner entry.

I would start looking ahead a little bit on the car prep side with brake ducts for the front. Just plan on it now and get something going when you can.

If you have a video post it up.

I do have a video. I will put it up when I get home. There is a disclaimer. This was my first time so I'm still figuring out what to do.

It is better to have feedback right away then the learn some habits which are hard to break. You should see some of my first track videos, lol

One of these days I'm going to make it out to VIR. It's not too far from where I live but I never been there.
[doublepost=1478268593][/doublepost]Put your vid on YouTube and link the site.
