I did not want to weld my valve cover but needed a vent because the vent on the oil cap just filled my catch can ever 2 weeks with oil. So I bought a fitting and here is how it worked.

    Buy THIS

    1. Remove the Valve Cover - I am sure instructions exist for this but it is pretty straight forward "mayeb replace your gaskets while in there, the mahle ones on rock auto are cheap and work well.
    2. Take off the inner shield in the valve cover. It is RTV'd so you will want to use some rtv to seal it back up, take your time as it is thin and takes bit to pry off once the screws are all out.
    3. I chose to put the fitting behind this to prevent oil spray and if the nut fell off for some reason it would stay in the tray vs falling into the motor.

    5. I punched a hole and then drilled a pilot hole here.

    8. I did not like the white washers so I used a black sharpie to change that.

    10. I used a dremel to clean up the inside so it could sit flat. I also added blue loctite to the threads. CLEAN IT SUPER WELL AFTER DOING ALL THIS.
    11. upload_2020-10-7_13-50-5.png Yes I see the vvt marks this was a valve cover from a diff motor before I built the one I have.
    12. Attach the new 10an Bulkhead and All done, now to get some rice points.

    14. I will actually be running this to a can but for now I had to going to a check valve and the filter I have not seen any oil in it after about 10 hard pulls at 38psi

    16. You do not need the check valve if you have the other vent on the valve cover going to the air , mine at this time was still routed to the intake.
