Oh, I have, but will be checking everything again. I know the wire isn't that long and goes straight to the fuse box under the hood
I'm talking with a long time service manager who I know personally, and he has helped me with my car multiple times and has helped friends of mine get back on the road too.

Got tired of blowing the PMM, hehe, and stepped it up to more vibes! Not wanting much NVH so I swapped in the Street Bushings. We'll see how it do! No press so I had to get creative...

Well me and the boy changed out the transmission, spark plugs and installed the Eonon radio today. TriboDyn 75w90 in the transmission, NGK SILTR6A7G plugs. Next up will be brake fluid. Want to get basic maintenance stuff out of the way first. Oh and the kid had to have the evil M on the hatch so that got done today too. Transmission fluid and plugs actually looked decent but man the shifting is noticeably different with the TriboDyn.[IMG]

I’m guessing a good Teflon lubricant? I’ll search around to figure out what part(s) I need to remove from the console to get to it.

Ok did some searching and looks easy enough. Seems you just pry off the cupholder area and then the shifter console piece and I should have access to the pivot. Any particular lubricant you guys would recommend?

I used white lithium grease in a spray can. I'm no expert but it appeared that that was what was originally used. Hit the reverse lockout parts too

Added CorkSport steering wheel, a Mazda LED kit he found on OfferUp for $10, and test fit the sub enclosure we just received from Bat-Man. Next few days is going to be cold so took advantage of the 65 degrees here today.

Thrilled and I am using your picture in the birthday card idea. That thing does feel very nice and well put together. Super easy to install.

Having done this twice so far in situ this is the fomoco fubar technology. On engine stand much nicer for a crappy task. PXL_20220303_224506235.jpg PXL_20220303_224614047.jpg PXL_20220303_224700219.jpg

PXL_20220305_003311820.jpg Ok.... Another fomoco fubar.. Yes I know I did the order wrong.... But really...Power steering last??? GD seems simple to remember, but I have 7 vehicles and thus my abused oldman memory gets fuzzy until I get to this happy spot. Just in case, better leave with positive thoughts... At least the lower screw has a mushroom stem for the PS lower blind bolt. The fourth post nub is nice too. PXL_20220305_000621616.jpg PXL_20220305_000609136.jpg

Me and the boy finished building enclosure for Amp and capacitor. This will go in the trunk passenger side once we get the car back from the body shop. Still have to figure out how to fix it in place but need the car for that. Big thanks to @BAT-man for selling us the equipment especially the custom sub enclosure that tucks away nicely into the wheel jack crevice.
