17x8 +35 ET with a 235/50r17 Nitto Neo Gen I just picked up on the cheap for winter/trip wheels. They rub a bit in the rear but look pretty good if you ask me.

Are you running any spacers on the front with the 17x9.5 +38 with 255/40/17? Also what kind of suspension are you running? Coilovers? Springs? Did you have to roll your fenders to fit that setup? Thinking about running a similar setup with 17x9.5 +38 rpf1's but not sure if I'll need spacers up front. Thanks

No spacers necessary. Coilovers I built from Bilstein shocks. Yes they have springs. Yes rolled.

Did you paint the front bumper yourself or have it done?

I had it done when I bought the car and had the whole care repainted in the Celestial Blue. Out here in Arizona, it is very common for the clear coat to oxidize, ruining the paint. Based on what I am putting into this car, I will likely keep it for decades...who knows, one day it may be going for $100,000 at auto auctions with body off restorations......

BTW, the first thing I did after the paint job was to have a clear bra applied to the whole front of the car, side mirrors and door handles. The rocks here are brutal on pain and windshields.

I got tired of rpf1's and did a thing. 18x9 +50 (15mm spacer in front, 5mm spacer in rear), with 255/35/18. YellowSpeed coils.

Man that looks good. Did you have any issues running the EVO X wheels on swift springs rubbing wise?

I'm thinking about getting a similar set up, except the wheels I'm looking at are only 18x8 +38 not 18x8.5 +38.
I'm also going to run my current 225/40/18 tires until they ware out. After that I'll be running 235/40/18 rubber.

    Thanks!

Looks good! What spacer did you run to get those to fit with such a tight offset?
