Yep I'm planning on purchasing Edge's TR8 kit they have for sale. The price point is doable for me, funny thing is I currently run a ETS TMIC.

4032 pistons from SP63, Manley H-beams, and either an EFR7163 or a new Gen II GTX3071r and 500whp @ 7k rpms. I'll prolly go VT at that time too. I'm basically going to carry a flat 390-400wtq from as soon as I can all the way until redline (for the tracks, etc.). I may make a balls-out map, too.

There will obviously be tons of extra/support stuff. I'm basically aiming for a track/auto-x/road coarse warrior that'll have a very long service life (4032s), yet be just as comfortable DD'ing because of that alloy (no longer warm-up times, etc.). We have a great local shop who successfully builds lots of Speed motors to help me figure out details. I'll also be likely spraying 2 CM12s for my extra fueling.

LOL. I think you're correct. I had talked about building, and his comment right after mine with no quotes to indicate who he was addressing threw me off. Oops!

    Sorry, OP :)

Having the shitstone piping installed made it harder to work on the car compared to a TMIC in my case. HTP piping made everything better though.

GO-AUTOWORKS (BNR's buddy) makes a T3/T4 flanged manifold and he can use whatever flange you need if you have something else. Full-Race has their EFR flanged manifold. FJ can probably do the same as the GO-AUTOWORKS guy too with their manifold. So you have some options.

If I was building my car, I'd look into the EFR route.

    Treadstone eats penises.

I have the CS and really like it so far. Tune is not done though. No creep or spike issues. It has a nice scream to it on spool. Have been sitting at 22psi lately. I checked pre-load before I installed it and it was spot on. You can check my sig for my setup.
