I really wish I got a picture of this injector BEFORE the seemingly fossilized, encrusted "stream" of brown crud that was attached to the nozzle tip broke off, but as you can see by the copious amounts of brown crud all over this thing that it was pretty dirty. This came out of an engine that was actually running fine. So, it's a good idea to check and clean your injectors and replace the seals just because. Personally, I'd do this every 50k miles. The OEM seals are shit. Period. And it gets incredibly gunky all over the injectors over time, which WILL cause performance issues eventually.

    Agreed.

This is how mine looked after 40k on E48. Had them cleaned prior to running E48...

Damn. I wish I had someone local. Closest place for me is North Carolina. How much do they charge?

I sent mine to Injector Rx. They had a quick turnaround.

What injector seals do you have? Get the CS or CP-e ones and you will never have to pull your injectors for the reason mentioned in the 1st post.

Those were cpe. You think I'm dumb enough to not run an upgraded seal, considering my motor has 83k miles and all above 500whp !? Lol. The seals are still on 2 of the Injectors in the first 2 pics

Oh, ok... however it looks like they weren't sealing properly. When I got my CP-e seals they suggested to add some silicone on them (I don't recall, I only remember I bought the exact one they mentioned).
