My engine back needs to be cleaned. Anything particular spray on and done?

Be careful that whatever you use is safe on aluminum. A professional detailer once used a industrial strength degreaser that caused some sort of chemical reaction that turned the block brownish. Turns out it had some type of acid in it that reacted with the aluminum.

Oh I know. My old Protege 5 I used simple green and a hose. But Christine will kill me if do that I think.

Soapy water to get dirt off the plastic bits and then hit the plastic parts with some non-oil based vinyl, plastic, rubber spray
